Jin Kisaragi; brother and rival to Ragna and the "Ice Car" of the Arc System video game BlazBlue.

Jin's Nox Nyctores, Yukianesa, allows him to use ice during some attacks. We've utilized cards like Ice Cage, Flashfreeze, Frost Titan, and Crippling Chill to represent this. However, it also corrodes his mind, driving him to seeming insanity. Before he used it, he was of his right mind. Civilized Scholar is in the deck to represent his change from normal Jin to corrupted Jin, and Peel from Reality is supposed to be his mental state. Hysterical Blindness, Frightful Delusion, and Increasing Confusion have been sideboarded as possible cards to help the deck as a whole, but they also represent his mind. Dissipate is one of his spells.Furthermore, Yukianesa supposedly controls him, so Mind Control is a must.

Jin transforms a second time, into another character. Without giving away any incredibly important details, I'll just say that Back from the Brink is the card for this part of his story. Runechanter's Pike is supposed to be Yukianesa itself, and it was chosen because of all the counterspells that are supposed to represent his Distortion counter-attack. Armored Skaab was selected as a creature to help with the Pikes also. Finally, Azure Mage was chosen for no other reason than her name; in BlazBlue, Azure is "the true power of the Boundary". Plus, there really aren't too many ice creatures.
