As an homage to my favorite film, here is a deck themed around John Carpenter’s 1982 box office flop turned cult masterpiece, The Thing. I’ve chosen a shapeshifter sub theme, and only selected shapeshifters that either depicted two of the same creature in the art, or depicting art similar to the disgustingly stunning body horror in the film. The rest of the cards were also picked while keeping motifs or symbols also seen in the film. Some of them are a stretch, but hilarious like Drown in the Loch, where the main reason I picked the card was because of the hand in the art being similar to the blood test hand in the film! Feel free to make suggestions, as I’m having trouble finding any ramp in these colors that fits the theme.

Edit 1: Someone made the excellent suggestion of Ashes to Ashes to represent the weakness to fire and that was perfect.
