This deck is an homage to the movie John Wick. It follows the life of a man struck by grief (King Macar, the Gold-Cursed) as he deals with the loss of his wife and dog. Following the only path he knows, he immerses himself in the underworld of assassins, and uses every weapon at his disposal to bring justice to those who have done him wrong.

This deck takes advantage of the built in tap outlet of the vehicles of Kaladesh to tap down King Macar and then attempts to untap him multiple times. This results in multiple bodies hitting the floor and gold raining from the skies, these coins can be used to pay for the lavish services of powerful planeswalkers and spells. There is a secondary subtheme of walking the path alone with cards like Homicidal Seclusion, Deadly Wanderings, Demonic Rising, and Haunted Plate Mail. Finally there is the final piece of the deck, the all important dog that gives its life to save me some of mine and draw a card (Plague Dogs).
