Wanna play creatures and swing with a bunch of knuckleheads while your opponents field the best and most broken cards in Magic? Sounds like suicide. It is, but sometimes you get'tem and for those of you that feel immense satisfaction for doing so, you will love this deck - for those that don't, just play Blood Pod.

Well now's your chance. Play the simplest deck in the CEDH format and crush those idiot blue mages with Jor Kadeem. That bad metalcraft legend from New Phyrexia.

This deck is a creature based Stax deck built with inspiration to the Death and Taxes lists that pop up in Vintage and Legacy (usually mono White). This deck uses every viable "Tax" or lockout effect available to slow down spell-based and tutor-based combos in CEDH. Since many of these cards are artifacts or creatures, using the metalcraft commander provides synergy. Jor Kadeen provides the "Death" in death and Taxes by growing your army of small creatures to a lethal size while also allowing you to 3-shot players with your commander once you achieve metalcraft.

Unlike Blood Pod, this deck does not fold into itself from a Blood Moon. This deck can be configured to your meta based on what you expect to face off against. You should not bring this deck to a battlecruiser meta, midrange decks will run over you. Blood Pod lists have card quality and card draw in abundance. This deck can be an alternative who want to shorten the clock required to kill their opponents.

Hints for this deck:

• Mulligan hands without acceleration and/or relevant stax pieces - you need explosive starts and you need them to matter as soon as possible. Your critical turns are 1 and 2 to keep players off their optimal turn 3 play (turn 3 is largely considered the defining turn in CEDH).
• prioritize killing U/B/UBX decks first. All it takes is one well-timed removal spell for them to combo out. Hitting Black decks weakens potential ad-nauseum plays.
• Lock out / cut off mana when you can.
• Spread commander damage to one player, prioritizing the player with the least creatures. Send the rest at other players when you can.
• Configure your build based on your meta constantly.
