Jor Kadeen's Army EDH

Commander / EDH Artifact Tokens

Jor Kadeen EDH

Red and White are the two most least played colors in my EDH group so this is my take on a R/W deck to fill up that hole.

This deck is the counter part to my Glissa EDH deck as given below. The two decks have opposite goals when it comes to the fate of the Myrodin planet.

Overall, this deck's plan A is to play and sacrifice small artifacts to continually build up advantages and an army of tokens. At this point Jor comes down making my tokens huge as they get into the red zone to finish other players off. The deck is very budget friendly, balanced, and free of any infinite combos or dousche cards; and I would like to keep it that way.

This deck was built upon a story idea that came to me as I was building the deck. Cards in the deck have to adhere to the story below. Though their are not strict limits on what cards can and cannot be played, it gives me pleasure knowing that the deck is consistent to the story.

Lastly, I decided that this was going to be an anti-pimp deck. thus there are no foils or full art lands at all in the deck.

----The Story----

Jor's homeland has pretty much been entirely taken over by the Phyrexians. He has witness a warping of his former home due to the powers of Sheoldred. Jor feared the days where Mirrodin would return to where all was dust. He had one chance, one final charge, one last fight to save Mirrordin. Jor's army has been depleted to just a few men and some of the local Myr. Under secrecy Jor plans to amass an army to save his planet, though his initial efforts have been unsuccessful. Jor becomes desperate enough that he enlists the local surviving goblin clan the Krark-Clan. Jor is weary about these barbaric creatures but ultimately sees it as his only shot and arranges to meet with the clan. Their leader (Krenko?) accepts Jor pleas and orders his goblins into Jor's camp to help the soldiers as each goblin saw fit. Jor was appalled as to how these creatures had opened his vaults and were ransacking his artifacts and Myr. As he was about to draw his sword he noticed what the goblins' doings were causing.Through their own skill, or completely by accident, their seemingly random distraction was turning the artifacts into bits of metal that Jor had never seen before. The goblins were constructing these creations only to gain small advantages and then destroy the again to create something new. Occasionally, the goblins would weld a legendary relic for a far plane that held great power. Jor and his men quickly realized how these small advantages and powerful artifacts could allow them to assemble a legion. Commanding this newly powered army Jor lead the Mirrodin land to a final fight against the Phyrexians and their Preator leaders.
