31 lands seems suspiciously low in Vancouver mulligan times.

TheRedMage, most in my meta allow partial Paris mulligans, but 31 actually works fairly well even with Vancouver rules. I only need to get to three mana, and the odds of that are fairly even.

Shortchangehero considered, but ultimately rejected in favor of Vedalken Orrery.
Orrery's upsides: Noncreature, so harder to remove, gives all my spells flash
Downsides: Costs one mana more.
Ultimately, the Orrery is just a better card in this build, since multiples of that effect are redundant. The real bonus is it being noncreature; say I've assembled two of what I call the "Big Three" (Vedalken Orrery, Unwinding Clock, and Mycosynth Lattice), one of which was the flash effect. Should I cast the last part, an opponent could just Doom Blade a Shimmer Myr, leaving me without the flash effect, whereas Orrery is immune to that.

ArantirTheDestroyer I'm working through a list myself and ultimately I have to agree with you, I'm considering Banefire and Fireball if I can assemble infinite mana.

Casey4321... How did I not notice that card when I built V1.0 of this deck? Great suggestion! Now I just need to figure out what to replace!
One funny thing is, it can even copy nonartifact creatures with a little help from Phyrexian Metamorph or literally anything with help from Lattice!

Have you considered Archmage Ascension? If you can reliably get out Rhystic Study or Vedalken Orrery and Vedalken Archmage, Trading Post or Sensei's Divining Top along with Jori En, Ruin Diver you could get it up to six counters with a couple turns of the table. Once you're tutoring instead of drawing you've basically won. However, it's quite slow if you can't draw cards at instant speed. The Ascention just works so naturally with Jori.

LMFAO! Meet Karn, Reaper of Lands and Memnarch, Poacher of Mana! My friend has a fine-tuned version of this deck. He calls it Artifact Good Stuff! XD He has it so streamlined that it's actually competitive! He wants to make it Jeskai (red-white-blue) but he's not sure what the commander should be. He was considering Numot, the Devastator but knows that people are scared of it. Any suggestions?

So quick question about the exclusions of Goblin Welder and Whir of Invention, why?
I'm not really suggesting them. I'm just curious because I'm debating on a merfolk/wizard tribal version of Jori En and artifacts also came to me as a secondary section of that deck.

Just realized, you ARE that friend of mine, and this IS that SAME deck. I did NOT see that coming! If Jori En is THIS bad, I SHUDDER to think of how many different ways SHARUUM would wreck me! Also, I know adding black AND white might be stretching the deck too thin, but people have made quite the hoopla about Breya, Etherium Shaper after the four-color commanders came out. I've always wanted to give her a try, but I have no clue how to make her a mean commander...
