Building a Rakdos spellslinger deck now that Judith exists to make it fun for me. The idea here is to always be casting instants and sorceries, so we run 20 creatures that do good things when we cast instants and sorceries, and then a lot of instants and sorceries that deal 1 damage to all enemy creatures (and have Judith give the spell deathtouch) or lots of cantrips and card draws (and have Judith make imps).

Slingers: Tesak, Judith's Hellhound is our secret second commander who lets us turn all of our little imps into free ramp for casting spells mid-combat; Flamekin Harbinger is here to tutor it for us. The rest of our slingers exist to be good swingers when we cast spells or make it easy for us to cast spells.

Wizards: Harmonic Prodigy does a lot of work in this deck; she doubles all of our commander Judith, Carnage Connoisseur's triggers, as well as Keldon Flamesage, Thermo-Alchemist, Rionya, Fire Dancer, Efreet Flamepainter, and Guttersnipe! Wow! That's a lot of triggers.

Salvos: We're running most of cheap cards that deal 1 damage to each creature opponents control; with Judith's ability, these are asymmetric board wipes. We're not running the more expensive ones that do more damage or have additional effects, because it's not generally going to be relevant! Special note for Ghired's Belligerence which is a big finisher who says "populate X times". Our floor for the populate is our imps, but if we have Manaform Hellkite out then this could be a CMC 10 spell that populates 8 more 10/10 flying hasters onto the field :)

Cantrips: The bread and butter of this deck are cheap spells that draw us cards and make us imps, so that we can keep making more (ideally hasty) imps who can then swing to generate mana to cast more cantrips.

Combo: Our favorite card to get out is Arcane Bombardment, and once we have it out we want to start staggering our cantrips so that we cast at least one on each opponent's turn to keep that count ticking up as fast as possible (it can tick up once per turn, so we want to hit it every turn, not just on our own turns). Tor Wauki the Younger doesn't just enhance our salvos, but also the damage that all of our slingers and imps do, to increase the payoffs for everything.

Happy birthday to me! The only issue the deck has been running into in my main playgroup is that Judith is vulnerable to removal and red/black doesn't have the ramp to keep recasting her at the rate the other colors I'm up against do if we're trading removal on commanders.

Changes were to add the protection category (Swiftfoot Boots / Whispersilk Cloak and a bunch of Undying Evil style effects) as well as continuing the treasure generation theme by picking up a copy of Hit the Mother Lode!
