This is a deck I have been playtesting with recently, and it has held up well in my interactions. I do not by any means see it as a min/max deck, but FNMs have been a blast and it has caught many opponents off guard.

The baseline looks very much like other Hapatra / Scorpion God decks (Push for the win, move to drawing cards with Scorpion God's ability as a fallback), but I do not see the profitability of Soul Scar Mage with the current burn spells in the rotation. (Opinion)

One card I have been experimenting with is the Samut planeswalker instead of Chandra, as it is less mana intensive if not drawing Oath of Nissas, and makes things like Ammit Eternal and Crocodile of the Crossing VERY intimidating.

Another work in progress are my 1-drops. This deck will not be rotating past a few cards, with Oath of Nissa being one of them. Fatal Push is interchangeable based on situation with Magma Spray, and Blazing Volley will work nicely against Monument decks.

Please leave your input as I would love to refine this further, and I hope someone out there gives this deck a whirl as it is generally a budget deck minus the Chandras!!
