Sideboard

I really just wanted to exploit Chord of Calling and Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx in the same deck. This list is capable of some crazy draws and what feels like infinite mana. Suggestions are always welcome.

My only issue currently is the land base. I'm missing Llanowar Wastes/Mana Confluence. Sometimes, especially between turns 3-5, temples make hitting the curve on time really difficult and awkward.

With it being my first bout with the deck, I've found a bevy of things that needed improvement. Eidolon of Blossoms went from a 4-of, to 3, to 2, and now to 0. I was frequently boarding it out in favor of faster spells and removal. Thus, her slot in the deck has become a pair of Goblin Rabblemaster. The card is too good right now, and with synergy with Purphoros, God of the Forge and Chord of Calling, it seems too good to pass up right now.

This deck folds to control. Plain and simple. If you haven't killed them by turn 5-6, prepare for Quicken and wrath effects. I was very close a couple of times, but that match ended in an 0-2 loss. I also lost a very close game to a very aggressive monored deck. The match almost went to time, but I lost simply because I had run out of blockers against a bunch of small creatures with Madcap Skills attached to them.

Moving forward, I could see this deck still being viable after Khans comes into standard. As I write this, this list only loses about 10 cards, between the main and the sideboard. Burning-Tree Emissary is the biggest loss by far, but the deck will most likely move towards a RUG/Temur color combination. With the number of great midrange creature options, it's hard not going that route.

Cards that were all-stars were Xenagos, God of Revels, Genesis Hydra, and Stormbreath Dragon. Honestly, none of these should have been surprising, but Xenagos was just too powerful for his effect.

The sideboard is a real mess. I was really unsure of myself while I was sideboarding. I had so many cards against control, but I couldn't find the right number of cards to take out for them. In the end, it proved costly.
