I honestly don’t see room for either. Goyf will grow regardless in an artifact heavy meta. And cutting a great card for tarfire just to grow goyf by 1 is simply juice that’s not worth the squeeze.

Tarfire and Mishra's Bauble are "cute cards" that don't cut it in Jund. They saw some play in Jund Shadow decks but that's really the only deck with room for cards like that.

How has Angrath, the Flame-Chained been in the sideboard for you? It doesn't seem particularly great as when you're getting to 5+ manna in midrange mirrors since your opponent might not have enough cards in hand to discard to be worth it. It also seems pretty and bad when topdecking. Is it good enough v UWx Control for it to be included?

It’s a new addition, I personally like it. Can take over v control and if it sticks is good v midrange. Surely there are better, cheaper situational cards, but I’m a fan of trying spicy and unconventional at times. Folks make arguments for ob nix or nissa over this guy but I like him. His second ability is underrated, beat someone with their own thing then sac seems alright.

When do you board in Angrath? It doesn't seem very good to me. Would Tireless Tracker be good in that spot?

ironic that the description and updates have "Greatness at any cost" but no bob :'(

zapyourtumor Yeah I know. Unfortunately I feel there are better options in the meta. Bob will hopefully return one day.

I'd recommend a Tarfire or two with the playset of Goyfs. Not much difference from Lightning Bolt in the format right now and you aren't running Mishra's Bauble.
