Ah, that might be a better inclusion, indeed. Good call.

Being a long time gruul player I just want to say I absolutely love this and will be making jund now and also I feel like the destructive revelry isn't a very good choice I would go for a back to nature or a rec sage

cjk191997 thanks!!!! and i like Destructive Revelry because not only does it destroy the artifact or enchantment but it deals damage as well.

I think cjk is right, rec sage is a 2/1 body that can attack every turn if it lives... also chumps, and back to nature can be such a huge blowout, but is not very good in your deck considering you play 4 coursers.

true, rec sage is probably better im just biased because i want to keep my foil Destructive Revelry, but ill playtest Reclamation Sage and see how he works.

love this idea...
wish there were more drowns and downfalls in the board...
dont think u need the polis crusher... but he has been on the edge of playable forever...

yeah i agree that Siege Rhino is a problem i just dont know what to put in to hate on it. yeah Polis Crusher can probably be removed for something else. maybe a Drown in Sorrow or a Reclamation Sage?

What changes are you considering with FRF? Shaman of the Great Hunt? Atarka, World Render? Tasigur, the Golden Fang? Kolaghan, the Storm's Fury? Anything?

You sure about the 4 Poluks? They are legendary, after all.

atlantis55555 says... #13
FAMOUSWATERMELON they are legendary but they are a prime target for removal so i often dont have one stuck in my hand long enough to matter.

TalladegaMagicMan i hadnt thought of Tasigur, the Golden Fang but he seems like a very good card and as i have been looking for more black cards to play i think that tasigur is a great idea

Maybe replace two of the mana dorks with some Voyaging Satyrs to double tap the nykthos. Also, perhaps Rattleclaw Mystic instead of Elvish Mystic in general. I mean, the caryatid can't attack, and the mystic only taps for green and only attacks for one damage. Just some thoughts. Also, why the Doomwake Giant? You actually have very few enchantments. if you're in a token heavy meta, maybe you'd be better served with Circle of Flame, even?

Also, why no Kolaghan, the Storm's Fury? Even if there were only three or four dragons, the bonus would be real sweet.

malfeischylde the reason Sylvan Caryatid is good is that i have a really aggro heavy meta and it is a very good blocker. and tapping for any color no matter what lands i have is really nice. Elvish Mystic is good because a turn one elvish really speeds up the game and id rather be a turn ahead of the opponent than have one extra power. as for Doomwake Giant i do have coursers to trigger him... but you are right Circle of Flame is really good. the main reason that i have the giant is because of Hornet Queen and Hornet Nest tokens. ill have to think about that one... Kolaghan, the Storm's Fury seems good but there are other cards that i would rather play.

malfeischylde, Voyaging Satyr is best when you can use it in conjunction with Market Festival, especially when you can chain two mf's with him, so you can get 10 mana from the one land. Without the mf's, it wouldn't be as useful.
Personally, I wouldn't use rattleclaw, I'd instead use Whisperer of the Wilds if I was to put a 2-drop mana creature instead of what's in here.
Overall, I like your deck idea--always love a jund brother! Only thing I would change is taking out Tasigur, the Golden Fang for somebody else. I don't care for that guy too much myself. Anyway, good luck!

Nykthos + satyr = hilarity. But, to each their own.

TalladegaMagicMan, the mana base is usually good. i very rarely get stuck on one red or black, but that is as is said, very rare.
CPD, Whisperer of the Wilds might be ok... ill have to test it out. Tasigur, the Golden Fang is really good becaue late game we can usually cast him for very few mana, and the card advantage that he generaates is insane.

You play the land normally, as if it were in your hand, with all the same restrictions. You are still limited by the 1 land per turn rule. In order for a card to let you play more than 1 land, it would need to say "you may play additional lands", or it could say "you may put it onto the battlefield" instead of saying "play."

"Courser of Kruphix this card is insane, extra life, extra land, and a good blocker just what this deck needs."
Even with CoK out you can only play one land per turn. Sorry bro, although she still is amazing as hell.
atlantis55555 says... #1
yeah Temur Sabertooth seems good i was thinking of maybe adding Shaman of the Great Hunt
