A competitive pauper deck that I own on paper and decided to bring it here. Trust me, this deck can be very fun to play! Feel free to copy, improve or re-create this deck.
This deck is actually simple to play. You need to mill cards from your deck to your graveyard until you get the big ones (like Generous Ent and Troll of Khazad-dum) in your graveyard, and then, use sorcerys like Exhume or Dread Return to bring them to the battlefield. You can win by attacking with those creatures, or in case you can't deal combat damage, by using the Lotleth Giant to deal damage on your oponnent directly (since you will have a bunch of creature cards in your graveyard, it will not be a problem at all).
This deck is unexpected strong, because if you start with a good turn 1, you can have a turn 2 or maybe turn 3 with a 6/5 creature on the field! But yes, this deck can leave a big open space sometimes, since you will always try to get the big creatures on the field as soon as possible, and because of that, sometimes you will have to make tough decisions (like sacrificing all of your creatures to cast Dread Return from your graveyard just to bring one big creature). Thinking about those situations, Acorn Harvest can help you (like, a lot). Gnaw to the Bone is an excellent card for that type of situation too, since it is a very powerfull card against Burn/aggro decks. I've put it on my Sideboard but you can easily put on Maiboard if you want.
PS: I used to play 4x Faithless Looting before the actual meta for triggering the Dredge effect more fast, but people at the local tournaments in my city started to bring a lot of Aggro decks, so I've decided to put 4x Scrapwork Mutt instead for more defense and still get the draw/discard feature. Surprisiling, it worked so well with this deck!
