My pet Goblin deck for Vintage play. Can function with 5-card proxy.

Goblins was one of the first decks I ever built and one I've had for over a decade. It's also what got me interested in Vintage, which is by far my favorite format.

This is primarily a control deck. Goblin Matron can tutor for silver bullets while traditional goblin cards, like Goblin Piledriver beat the opponent to a pulp.

The main win condition is to resolve Earwig Squad on turn two with its prowl cost. We can then hit our opponent's Time Vault, Griselbrand, or whatever hiding in their deck. Once Earwig Squad resolves vs. any deck that relies on combos to win, they will be forced to scoop.

Lightning Crafter, Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker, and Skirk Prospector create an infinite damage and mana combo. Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker copies Lightning Crafter, removing Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker for the champion cost. Skirk Prospector then sacrifices the Lightning Crafter copy, returning Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker back to play untapped, allowing you to repeat the process.

Warren Weirding stops Oath of Druids and Tinker into Blightsteel Colossus. It can be searched for via Goblin Matron.

The most interesting part of this deck, however, is the choice to use Goblin Chieftain and Frogtosser Banneret over Goblin Recruiter and Goblin Warchief. Frogtosser Banneret allows us to play Earwig Squad on turn two, possibly even turn one. Goblin Chieftain makes Goblin Lackey big enough to play around Dark Confidant.

Sideboard choices allow the deck to convert into Food Chain Goblins, making it a combo deck. Goblin Sharpshooter destroys Dredge. Wort, Boggart Auntie wrecks Fish players who can't keep up with the number of goblins that keep coming back. A resolved Siege-Gang Commander usually means control players will be forced to scoop. Tin Street Hooligan and Tuktuk Scrapper are for the hardest matchup for goblins, Mishra's Workshop-based aggro and control.
