Jund Standard: Gods, Beasts and Planeswalkers

Welcome to Godly Jund Beatdown

This was an idea I got after hearing reference to a deck named "Jund Gods" in Standard. I never actually saw the deck, but thought that it would be cool to try and make a Jund-deck in standard with a lot of high-value cards, like the Amonkhet/HOU Gods, big beefy creatures, and Planeswalkers.

The idea of the deck is pretty straight forward: do some early board-control with Abrade and Fatal Push, while at the same time getting your ramp-pieces, Drover of the Mighty and Channeler Initiate on the field. This will allow you to ramp into your God's, Beasts and Planeswalkers.

And then, the fun begins...

Lets take a look at the big payoffs in the deck:

Gods

Early/mid-game

One of the big nut-draws in the deck is if you manage to land a Rhonas the Indomitable into Hazoret the Fervent. This will in most cases allow you to swing with 2x indestructible, 5power creatures on turn 4, which seems pretty good.

Late-game

In the late-game, The Scorpion God is a brick-wall that also functions as combined removal and card-draw engine. It also straight up swings for 6, which is very hard to ignore.

Beasts

Early-game

The only creature here is to help along with our ramping into the lategame: Ranging Raptors. It's good at blocking our opponents small creatures, and even punishes them for removing it with anything but a Fatal Push, as you might get to draw and play 2 basic lands if your opponents shoots it with a damage-spell.

Mid/late-game

In the mid- to late-game, you really get to beat down on your opponent and their creatures with big threats like Glorybringer, and Ripjaw Raptor will also generate card-advantage for you while blocking or attacking. These are some of the key pieces, that will help you close out the game.

Planeswalkers

These should be self-explanatory. Chandra, Torch of Defiance will generate you card-advantage and ramp you, and unanswered she can end a game all by herself. Vraska, Relic Seeker is also very hard to ignore, and comes down like a brick in the lategame to remove big threats like card:Glorybrigner (AKH), while at the same time generating mana for you. She is also very good at fatiguing out many decks, generating an army of small pirates, right up until she can blow up and put your opponent to 1.

Final thouhgts

Hope you like the ideas! The deck is still a work in progress and is constantly tweaked, so please comment if you have any ideas/complaints/things that you thought I missed in the deck. And upvote would be awesome as well. Thank you!

Updates Add

Out: 3x Carnage Tyrant, 2x Shapers' Sanctuary

In: 1x Chandra, Torch of Defiance, 3x Prowling Serpopard, 1x Appetite for the Unnatural

Seemed like the deck needed some more enchantment/artifact hate, as well as a way to combat the control-decks.
