Red/Green/Black deck built originally from leftover cards, but since evolved to spawn massive creatures. This deck consists of a lot of red/green, red/black and green/black cards that I have found cheaply, along with some burns, some black creatures and a fair number of high powered green creatures. Additionally, Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker makes an appearance to help with the high powered creatures, but is the least of the worries with so many larger creatures to deal with.
You will notice that there are next to no basic lands, as the new gates have proven very effective at getting the different colors of mana out on the field. This is especially true with no tri-color lands like many of the other sets that have been produced with Kahns of Takir coming out. The problem is, naturally, that these lands come in tapped, which slows down play, but I'm not very concerned about that, as even the high powered creatures tend to come out reasonably soon, or at least before my opponent can manage to get anything to do anything about them.
Obviously, while the deck contains many M15 and Kahns cards, there's a lot of seriously old cards, and it's not a standard deck, and probably isn't legal in any competition. But then again, it isn't meant to be. The ideal use for this deck is against slightly slower decks, or in two headed giant matches, when paired with a more control-based deck. While this isn't my "primary" deck, and isn't the best in many situations, it is quickly becoming my favorite to play with and to use, since it's so straight forward in how it plays and how easy it is to put creatures that make your opponent crap their pants a little on the field. I should note that
Vector Asp
is only included because it's a colorless 1-drop 1/1, which helps when I don't get the correct color of mana for a while. The poison has proven helpful, especially when I've needed it to block a more powerful creature, but it's still fairly rare that I use it. A colorless deathtouch 1-drop 1/1 would be much better if anybody knows of one. Tbh, the
Typhoid Rats
would all be replaced if I knew of and found a deathtouch colorless 1-drop, for obvious reasons.
The help I need is just general ideas for improvements. I am still currently and actively trying to improve the deck, so the cards will change often, and I don't know if I'll remember to update the list on here. Thanks!
