Get mist cutter. Surprisingly a very good combo with kalonian.

I was reading your comment saying that you were sick of people telling you to take out Corpsejack Menace . I do understand that he adds counters when counters are being PUT on a creature. Unfortunately (I am really sorry about this by the way I know what you are going to be feeling, I had a really similar deck) when a creature enters the battlefield with +1/+1 counters they are not being PUT on the creature so Corpsejack Menace doesn't even double the counters. even when the creatures counters double they are still not technically being PUT on the creature so Corpsejack Menace is still useless. Maybe you could consider Reaper of the Wilds . His scry goes well with all the removal you have in the deck. Well let me know what you think. Sorry

@Kornex2000 And I am sorry to tell you, you're absolutely 100% wrong about that.

Read the first ruling.

So yes, he does in fact double the counters. This has been judge-approved at two tournaments and countless FNM's.

Also @Kornex2000 I'll throw reaper in the maybeboard - she's totally a viable card for this. There's a plethora of cards that i am looking at for the odd 1-of slot that the 'missing' 4th Exava, Rakdos Blood Witch leaves.

don't be sorry! I like the idea of doubling counters of creatures that enter the battlefield and stuff like that. Like I said I had a deck like this before... maybe I should think of rebuilding it now

Bioshift ? Instant versatility. It lets you move counters from creatures that might/would die like a kalonian being targeted by kill spell? Also what about Savageborn Hydra ?

and can you please check out My deck:

GRUULFTW : - [Bioshift] is worthy of consideration. I've talked to people about the hilarity of the 'saves' you can do with bioshift.

EX: I have out Corpsejack Menace and Exava, Rakdos Blood Witch out and I play Kalonian Hydra and it comes in as an 8/8 with trample/haste. I declare combat, they cast a kill spell on the hydra to not-die. In response I bioshift the counters from the hydra to either corpsejack or Exava. The 8 counters become 16 on whatever they land on because of corpsejack, and i just swing in with them for ++value!

  • [Savageborn Hydra] I tried in an earlier iteration of the deck. He tends to just die as soon as he becomes 'worth it' and he gets chump blocked all day. If I had more room I might think about it but I'm pressed for room in this deck.
