Got inspired when Dragonlord Atarka and Kolaghan were spoiled for DTK to make a Jund Dragons deck. Then I incorporated a few cards from my first Xenagos themed deck to help with mana ramp and to allow Atarka, World Render to swing for 24 the turn it lands. Then I just played it and switched out cards that didn't feel right until it became less focused on dragons.

Took 1st at FNM! — May 29, 2015

Took first place after going undefeated at FNM this week after not playing for a few weeks.

Game 1: Had a Bye first game.

Game 2: Second game was against Dimir Control. Was able to hold onto Hero's Downfalls to stomp out Ugin when he landed, ended up going 2-1 Game 3: This was against a Narset Transcendent / Jeskai Dragons deck. Plenty of control alongside Thunderbreak Regent and Icefall Regent which had been doing really well that night. 2-1

Game 4: Final match against Mono Red Aggro. I didn't have high hopes going against the speed of this deck, but ended up going 2-0. The first game I blocked some of his threats with my Sylvans for a while until I could land Tasigur and Sidisi with Xenagod down. 2nd game he got stalled on land and I ended up swinging for some ridiculous number after throwing down a 9/9 Mistcutter Hydra.
