any ideas for this deck?

I'd up the land count to at least 22 and get 3 more Overgrown Tomb , 20 is just too low in my opinion. I also prefer Varolz, the Scar-Striped to Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord but i have found that to be personal preference. Putrefy should definitely find a home in here, and if you have the cash I hear Liliana of the Veil is pretty good. I would never replace Abrupt Decay and Slitherhead is a great target for Lotleth Troll . Strangleroot Geist is very good although not a zombie. It looks pretty decent though, won't take much to make it better

one more Gravecrawler , it's a great card and it is great with the Lotleth Troll discard

Diregraf Ghoul might be a better maindeck 1-drop than Deathrite Shaman . The Shaman is an amazing sideboard card right now, and he's amazing in Modern, but he's only effective in a few Standard matchups. The Ghoul is also a better Scavenge target if you end up running Varolz as a main strategy.

I would cut Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord down to 1 and move Varolz, the Scar-Striped up another one. You might also want to consider replacing the Slitherhead s with Blood Scrivener from Dragon's Maze. Another great card to consider is Rancor . I'm experimenting with a similar deck myself.

I would consider a singleton Zombie Apocalypse , maybe two. It's not something you want to draw more than one of in a single game, but when you get it you can shape your entire strategy around it and the opponent will never see it coming.

I'd also strongly consider Grisly Salvage . It helps shape your hand into exactly what you need, it pumps Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord , enables Zombie Apocalypse if you decide to run it, increases your chances of pitching Dreg Mangler to your graveyard, and makes Varolz, the Scar-Striped fucking amazing. Don't be afraid to self-mill (especially as Golgari), think of your graveyard as a second library that you get to look through whenever you want.

GVand I definitely like all the ideas. I will tinker around with the deck a little bit in a couple days.
