Kindred Spirit!!!!! I have a deck for you too look at, may help you cut a few cards, and find a few replacements.http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/skyraiders-hunger/Take a look at my deck and see what you think. This may not be finished yet, but I am definitely going to up vote this beauty. for the win.

Cards I'd suggest cutting would be Ant Queen (2 mana for a 1/1 token just isn't efficient and a 5/5 for 5 just isn't really impressive), Sight of the Scalelords (Vigilance isn't super relevant in EDH and the pump isn't going to matter when they just chump block your creatures. Trample is much more relevant), Damnable Pact (You're better off running Disciple of Bolas since you can actually recur it, unlike Damnable Pact... I haven't been a huge fan of this card since it's release and in EDH I just find one time use spells that your deck can't cast multiple times to only be good if they affect the board state itself... But that's just me... Plus being in black gives you so many better ways to draw cards!), Dragon Throne of Tarkir (Prossh is a general that screams "VOLTRON" by just looking at him, so effects like this, despite being good "Plan B"'s aren't all that good without ways of giving the giant Kher Keep Kobolds Which on a side note is very fun to say very little opportunity to get through for damage... This is better utilized in Selesnya token builds where the general just sits back pumping out tokens and strategies running Nylea, God of the Hunt, Kamahl, Fist of Krosa, and esp. Craterhoof Behemoth... And even then it's pretty lackluster) Just looking through your list that's what I found. But really an EDH deck is something that you have to test a lot. I recently made my first list after months of studying the commander format. It's actually token based just like yours and if there's one thing I've learned it's that you have to play with cards to see if they work with your deck. Play a few games and if you find yourself groaning every time you see a card... Even if it wins you a few games!... It's probably not the right fit. And specifically when it comes to token-centric decks I find spells that dump a huge amount of tokens on the field to be kinda meh compared to cards that give you a steady stream of them, so I'm a bit iffy on cards like Fresh Meat, Tempt with Vengeance, and Fungal Sprouting... But if you like them keep them in! EDH is all about what works for you... I was very happy to see Awakening Zone in your list. It's one of my favorites!

Really sorry for the massive info dump, hope ya can forgive me for being a bit enthusiastic... If you read it all, cool. If ya don't I won't be offended. At the end of the day I love Magic, and just want to help. Good luck playtesting, and +1 for Jund'ing 'em out!

Angel_Of_Deathx666 no need to apologize. I actually realllly enjoy when people give feedback with some detail behind it, thank you. You bring out some really good points that does help me make some cuts.
- One thing you mentioned is repeatable token generation, which i completely agree with you. The two cards I'm hoping to get are: Dragon Broodmother and Dragonmaster Outcast but since they are pretty $$, its more of a long term goal upgrade. At first i thought the same thing with Ant Queen but with Xenagos, the Reveler, Savage Ventmaw, and eventually Black Market and Braid of Fire, it seems like a good/fun manan sink alogn with Exsanguinate.
- I would run Disciple of Bolas or even Greater Good but would like to have a few more grave recursion cards first. All i have atm is Phyrexian Reclamation, but if I was to add Sheoldred, Whispering One, Palace Siege etc, i think bolas would work better.

I take back what i said about Disciple of Bolas. I completely forgot I'm running Hell's Caretaker and Champion of Stray Souls. Hopefully I can still get a Sheoldred, Whispering One or Recurring Nightmare.

I really wanted to add that card but I'm having a hard enough time trying to make cuts =s

I'm not sold on using less than 35 land. Especially with Springjack Pasture and Kher Keep making tokens for you. (You could have a lot of fun with a Kobold Tribal EDH).

But I'm always willing to learn. Convince me?

Honestly, I rarely used the lands that make tokens. Its just a nice option to have if I'm stuck on left over mana. Considering all the ramp I'm using, 35 lands is serving me well unless my friend plays his land destruction, but either way I'm screwed lol.

Your list shows 30 land, which is why I ask

May 8, 2015 10:25 p.m.

Ignore that, I'm not accustomed to the tag-style you use. I just found the others.

Yea, that is a little misleading lol.

just add food chain to turn it into an infinite combo deck and win the turn after you cast prosh

Having a hard time finding someone willing to trade it. =p

consider adding Craterhoof Behemoth and/ or Overwhelming Stampede for some good alpha-strike tech. Shove the behemoth into a Mimic Vat for best effect. I would also say not to underestimate Goblin Bombardment, especially having as much token gen as you have. More for killing creatures than players, but occasionally you can finish someone off with it. Insurrection is good as a one-side boardwipe with a lot of damage attached. Ghoulcaller Gisa with prossh and Purphoros, God of the Forge is a pretty fast clock. Otherwise just getting your dudes back from prossh is pretty good. Finally, I'd recommend some tutoring power, like Sidisi, Undead Vizier, Chord of Calling or Liliana Vess. I can totally understand not wanting to tutor, but if you're looking for optimization, cutting down on some repeat effects for having the one you need is best.

As far as making cuts go,Avenger of Zendikar could go. It does come with a lot of value, but with a general who likes to kill his minions, the plants will likely be salad. The card is just not optimal for prossh, I think. Boltwing Marauder doesn't do much for you. Sure, power, but it's just a worse Ogre Battledriver. Coffin Queen seems a bit bad. Having a creature back is cool, but the queen herself is really fragile, and it doesn't really get any value. the slot would be better off as an independent threat. Graveborn Muse draws a lot of cards, but it itself is a pretty weak body next to Bloodgift Demon. Sprouting Thrinax is a weak body that's only purpose is creating weaker bodies upon its death. Genuinely less good than any other token factory. Decimate could be removed on account of being very situationally restricted. You need to see all four targets before you can cast it. Exsanguinate can kill people, but in most situations it does essentially nothing, having no effect on boardstate. Braid of Fire's mana empties before your main phase, so in this deck it's mostly useless. Mana empties at every step, not just at the end of the turn. Primal Vigor should at least be upgraded to Doubling Season.

Hope this helps!

Really appreciate this feedback Foxhound. I did think about Craterhoof Behemoth along with Birthing Pod and thanks for reminding me about him. I'll add him to maybe list incase I ever come across one. You make a good point about some of the cuts but Boltwing Marauder can throw that boost on a single creature, hopefully someone with some kind of evasion. Its a shame about Braid of Fire, I knew it was way too OP for some reason lol. Liliana Vess was another card I was looking into along with one of the Garruks but again, If I see one I'll try to trade for it. The same goes for Doubling Season, its pricey but it would be put in as a 3rd token multiplier instead of replacing Primal Vigor. You definitely helped me make some cuts and brought good good suggestions to add, thanks man.

Ashnod's Altar+Banefire is a solid combo I use in a similar deck that has won me tons of 1v1s

I do a similar thing with Exsanguinate when its multiplayer. The infect/double strike on prossh seems to be more consistent when it comes to 1v1s though.

I would cut Deathbringer Thoctar, he's really bloody slow, and at six mana you get a 3/3, which isn't great. Thopter Assembly is okay, but you have better token generators, and the six mana slot is taken up by casting Prossh most of the time anyway. I see you have an Urborg, but no Cabal Coffers, coffers combos with all of your mana sinks.

May 24, 2015 4:36 p.m.

goodair says... #22

I agree with the Deathbringer Thoctar but Cabal Coffers is a dead draw if I don't got the urborg along side of it. As for the thopters, your right about casting prossh instead. Thanks

looks fun and not too oppresive/combo-ey. +1. Artifact Mutation + Aura Mutation? I have a ramp/token deck in Naya if you want to take a look. The Golden Company

Artifact Mutation is awesome! The aura version is white though but yea. I'm more worried about having fun rather than always win turn 4 or w/e. I'll check your deck out.
