Jundying is a deck i made a while back, but now it has come to full fruition. The deck has sac outlets, undying creatures, and aggro mixed into one awesomely powerful deck. Undying Creatures- Currently, I have Flayer of the Hatebound, Strangleroot Geist, Vorapede, Hound of Griselbrand, and Mikaeus, the Unhallowed for undying creatures. Flayer of the Hatebound keeps the pressure on constantly, making my opponent second-guess every move that may kill my creatures. Strangleroot Geist is one of the best 2-drops printed, and found his way into this deck as an early option Vorapede isn't even a question. He starts as a 5/4 vigilance, and gets fatter after he dies. Hound of Griselbrand, because Double Strike isn't good enough. Joking Aside, He's a potent beatstick even before he dies and comes back. Mikaeus, the Unhallowed is there as a lord. Also he can make anything a threat with Flayer of the Hatebound out and doing his dirty work, not to mention the power boost they get from him even if they don't die. Non- Undying stuff: Bloodflow Connoisseur- she kills stuff to make herself bigger. why not? Blood Artist- Hey, stuff's going to by dying, why not gain some life for it? Thragtusk has use in any midrange deck. a Whitesun's Passage on a 5/3 body that produces a 3/3 body when it leaves the battlefield. So much potential when combined with Big Mikkey. Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord is a great engine to pop off undying, and he is a heavy beatstick if my graveyard is filled. When Flayer of the Hatebound is sacced to Jarad's effect, I get a hefty one-two-punch for 3 mana (essentially think 3 lightning bolts for 3 mana, huge return on investment). Support Spells are currently on the short side, being only Abrupt Decay and Dreadbore. Both give an answer to their threats, but both have their weakness. Sideboard: This sideboard is focused on answers to popular deck Ideas going around. 3x Naturalize to stop people with anthems, artifacts I don't like, and other things. 3x Mizzium Mortars can become a one sided board wipe when i need one 2x Pithing Needle, in case someone plays Guild leaders or other things with scary activated abilities. 2x Zealous Conscripts if they have something tasty to steal. 3x Slaughter Games, because its fun to stop frites in its tracks I am open to any suggestions, and would love to hear some comments. Playtest this against decks you made and tell me how it runs, I will be doing research of my own.
