Palisade Giant + Gleam of Battle bought me a lot of time while I continued to attack over and over again building up the giant while absorbing any attacks from my opponents. Martial Law helped isolate troublesome creatures until I was able to remove others.

The mana curve is horrible. I did not get nearly enough 2-4 drops. This deck has a few bombs, but I have to live long enough to be able to cast them.

Assault Griffin + Gleam of Battle can end the game quickly as it becomes hard to deal with in the air. Explosive Impact was effective for big creature removal. Haazda Snare Squad tapped out a blocker allowing for Fortress Cyclops to hit hard.

Electrickery was very helpful in board clearing pesky */1 creatures.

Gleam of Battle + ( Rubblebelt Raiders and Street Sweeper ) got out of hand once they were rolling.

Every time I lost I was low on mana. This deck was very poor against aggro, but once it got rolling it was hard to deal with.

Tajic, Blade of the Legion was murdered almost every time he was brought out ( Gleam of Battle was almost always there and the opponents shifted focus on it immediately).

Warleader's Helix did its job with removal and life gain. Running 18 lands allowed me to play the high cost cards most of the time, I just had to live long enough to get the army situated.
