Junk Constrictor a.k.a. The Trash Compactor

Standard BGW (Abzan, Junk) Competitive Midrange

RETIRED!!

This deck plays as a midrange that wins via slowly but surely overpowering the opponent. Spot removal helps to ensure that youre getting the advantage in combat. Cards like Glint-Sleeve Siphoner, Aether Hub, Walking Ballista, Verdurous Gearhulk, Rishkar, Peema Renegade, etc. all synergize with winding contrictor to make some pretty beastly creatures for you. This deck is quite simply a Junk version of the typically Golgari/Jund constrictor decks. I like the addition of Thalia, Heretic Cathar in the main as well as access to Gideon, Ally of Zendikar, Anguished Unmaking(even if it is a strictly worse version of Unlicensed Disintegration) that we get from our white splash. The mirror is a bit of a grind that i have a tendency to lose out on unfortunately. The curve of this deck plays well into the higher drop cards assuming you hit your land drops and i have been working on lowering the curve without losing too much value. I play this deck on mtgo and i am constantly messing with it so suggestions for improvement are welcomed and wanted! +1 if you like it!

Updates Add

Decided to add green for Winding Constrictor because synergy is a dope aspect of magic! also, this addition allows for some card advantage via Glint-Sleeve Siphoner and some extra power via Longtusk Cub. Greenbelt Rampager and Aether Hub make sure weve always got a bit of energy to throw around and were off to the races!
