Goal of the Deck:

The deck is based around a control lock-out style of play. Using deadeye navigator with powerful cards such as Venser, eternal witness, rune-scarred demon etc. allow you to have complete control over the board and what your opponents can do. I realize I could easily make the deck more of an infinite combo deck with the addition of palinchron but using infinite mana combos to win is not very fun for me. I would rather lock my opponents out of the game, slowly strangling them until they just quit :).

Budget:

The deck is semi-budget but still has some powerful cards. The land base could be more complete.The deck is pretty much always a work in progress as I am actively trading and looking for more cards to add to it.

The Meta

My meta is somewhat casual with a couple house rules but we do play to win. One of our rules is someone can only take one extra turn in a row. We realized that if someone were to take two or more turns in a row, 95% of the time they would end up winning. This means no infininte turns. Other infinite combo's are allowed however.

Overall, I enjoy the deck very much and it is still my favorite deck to play after making about three other EDH decks. The combination of B/U/G is IMO one of the most powerful three color combos you can have for EDH.

The maybeboard are cards I am considering to add to the deck or cards that I want to add but have not gotten yet. The sideboard are cards I am considering to cut from the deck.
