This is an Izzet Control deck I've just built, focussing around controlling the board with a bunch of permission spells whilst Young Pyromancer builds a defensive line of tokens then using Runechanter's Pike to make a token formidable.

It uses As Foretold not only to cast Ancestral Vision turn 3 for free (with immediate effect -i.e no 4 turns of suspend), but to also be able to cast the cantrips for free in both my turn and the opponents turn, freeing up a lot of mana for other things. For example when As Foretold is at 1 counter, you can pass the turn tapped out, but during your opponents turn you can cast a Lightning Bolt or Spell Snare that they may not have been accounting for.

Goblin Dark-Dwellers are useful in this deck not only as a menacing beater and for flashing back a card, but it can cast Ancestral Vision without the suspend, netting you another 3 cards as you cast it.

Runechanter's Pike is there initially to make one of Pyromancers tokens into a spiky first strike weapon, everyone loves a 10/1 first strike... But other great targets are Goblin Dark-Dwellers to take advantage of their Menace, or Vendilion Clique to have a very pointy flyer.

Dumping cheap spells quickly means Harvest Pyre and Logic Knot have heaps of fuel from the graveyard.
