Sideboard

Because sometimes I just want to have fun!

Pretty straight forward, use your haste/unleash creatures to beat your opponent senseless in the early turns, then 'go big' and finish the game with Hellrider and Thundermaw Hellkite or burn out the last few points with your mass array of efficient burn spells.

Hound of Griselbrand is a card I'm testing for my current meta, and to take advantage of the recent reduced showings of 4x Pillar of Flame , though he might want the help of a Lightning Mauler sometimes.

Archwing Dragon comes in against control variants like bant which have an almost fully sorcery speed removal suite. He also ignores Thragtusk in certain match ups.

The exta Flames of the Firebrand and Pillar of Flame come in against aggro or the mirror, for obvious reasons.

Thunderbolt cakes Restoration Angel & oliva voldaren (with two chances!) and is fine when doubling as a Lava Spike.

Zealous Conscripts come in for big creatures and planeswalkers, though sometimes the five mana needed can be a little out of reach.

At this point, I'm considering splashing four Rootbound Crag for two Kessig Wolf Run or four Clifftop Retreat for two Slayers' Stronghold. Hellion Crucible can be incredibly frail in particular match ups, so different support lands could be a useful meta game shift, if required.
