I had just thought about suggesting Contagion Engine when I checked and saw that you had thought of it already.
I'd try dropping Magus of the Vineyard since there are some situations where it could help another person more than yourself - although it is fun.

I'd also consider Fuel for the Cause and Contagion Clasp - but they are weaker and may not be worth the cards you would have to drop to get them in that deck. I know if it were me, I would start drawing land to add them in ... bad ... don't do it

I think magus can help you get that extra sliver out each turn - but in alot of my decks, it would do a lot more than that - and the PW abilities don't generally require and mana to activate.

You were right about forgetting - doh! I meant to so I'm glad you reminded me.

Gilder Bairn ! He doubles up counters, too. With Doubling Season and him, you can make walkers survive their ultimates, and use them a couple more times.

This reminds me of my Superfriends deck, There are some who call me... Angus?.

True, but that one-time use can be a game-winner.

If you don't have a Doubling Season, it can act as a one-time doubling of counters, which can end games (You said yourself how much a Nicol Bolas ultimate hurts people and helps you just control the game from then on out).

And if you play in multiplayer games, you can usually plan on playing against somebody who's deck won't be running many creatures (or at least many fatties), and if your ramp is as crazy as it looks, then you should be able to get a couple uses out of the good ol Gilder Bairn.

And look, he even has the perfect costume to be some sort of sidekick.

I'm leaning towards Exploration , Shard Convergence , Parallel Lives , and/or Rofellos.

Isn't she awesome! No opponent will ever be safe from counterspells with her around. Her best friend is Leyline of Anticipation .

Also, Leyline of Sanctity and Glacial Chasm help protect your walkers exceedingly well. If you get Glacial Chasm , keep the Exploration in. So that with Crucible you can make nobody ever attack you and never pay the upkeep cost.

Leyline is good for making sure nobody pings your walkers, although that happens less often than them being swung at.

Also, I hear Moat is good if you have the money to get one.

Might I also suggest changing "mana excel" to "mana accell" lol. i'm glad you made a new deck so I don't get my ass beat constantly.

Oh Moat was a great suggestion. Also, Dreno33 proxies everything. If you're going to go that route, try Peacekeeper . You can stop paying the upkeep at any time just in case you want to attack.

If you truly have no budget (via proxies) then a tabernacle wouldn't be too bad in here.

i will not take any mana accel out for other cards. It is very consistent in its current state and shall remain as is, for that is the key to my success. I love Peacekeeper . I shall consider that one as well.

how is Rofellos, Llanowar Emissary working for you? You only have about what, 6 forests? is he pulling his weight?

very much so. Most of my mana ramp is pulling out duel forests. Look at all the sorceries and such that say search library for forest and put it into play. plus I can pull out forests with any fetch land
