This iteration of Kaalia of the Vast is very much aggro. In a perfect world, it will get a mana rock out and Lightning Greaves or Swiftfoot Boots so Kaalia is swinging on turn 4. There are a large collection of creatures that can all cheat in for free with the exception of Magus of the Moat since all my other creatures fly save for Mirror Entity whom doesn't need to since he can be devastating pumping all of my board up.

The creatures have plenty of ETB answers based on game state. Iona, Shield of Emeria can shutdown many decks and stall many others. Avacyn, Angel of Hope can set up a board wipe only effecting the opponents. Hoard-Smelter Dragon wrecks peoples artifacts, while Rune-Scarred Demon tutors for any other answer.

I find Kaalia is a good deck to play in a 2 player game but can also be effective in multiplayer. This list was created based on the normal Commander rules on mtgcommander.net.
