''Wrath is no vice when inflicted upon the deserving.''

(Now if we only could have a commander that had the same effect for Hydras and Leviathans.)

Kaalia of the Vast effect is unbelievably strong, mainly because Dragons, Angels and Demons tend to be the strongest types of creatures from their respective colors. With Dragons' aggressiveness, Angels' control abilities and Demons' utilities, you have a multitude of choices and options in order to adapt to the current state of the board.

Strategy:

This deck is a cycle.

First cycle focuses on card drawing. Cards such as Phyrexian Arena and Underworld Connections allows us to constantly have a hand full of options for Kaalia of the Vast .

Second cycle focuses on Kaalia of the Vast herself. Have her early in play, allowing us to drop big threat early game and use cards such as Mother of Runes and Darksteel Plate to protect her and guarantee we can attack with her with little concern.

Third and final cycle is reanimation. Kaalia will not always be there and board wipes are a thing. Cards such as Unburial Rites and Reanimate will insure we always have some kind of threat on the board.

In addition to that, we have a couple of ''low cost'' creatures such as Baneslayer Angel that we can hard cast and use Kaalia's trigger to summon something far more expensive such as Iona, Shield of Emeria .

Creatures:

Hellkite Tyrant an all star in any commander deck using dragons and it's easy to see why. The amount of artifacts used in commander is high ! This badboy can steal them from our opponents for our personal use. That alone is good enough but if somehow we manage to have over 20 at the beginning of our upkeep, we get a free win.

Ob Nixilis, Unshackled , speaking of good in commander. How many times do your opponents search their library in a commander game ? From tutors, to fetch lands Ob Nixilis, Unshackled will make them thinks twice beforing doing any of that.

Gisela, Blade of Goldnight will make us a tank. Doubling any damage we deal while halving any damage we take. This is especially good since we're already going to take a lot of damage from our drawing engines, last thing we need to worry about is combat and spell damage.

Lands:

Vault of the Archangel is a must for this deck. Remember all the life we are going to pay for our draw engines ? This land allow us to give all our creatures Deathouch, but most importantly, Lifelink. One good activation is all we need.

Slayers' Stronghold is a great land for when you want to be aggressive. It also can be paired with Vault of the Archangel for an immediate life gain while having no worries of an aftermath thanks to Vigilance.

Cavern of Souls will make you choose between Dragons, Angels and Demons. Since my deck has more Angels then any other type, i tend to favor Angels. Adopt your choice to both your deck and the current game situation.

Utilities:

Phyrexian Reclamation an mvp in this deck. It's basically a tutor for our graveyard. A tutor that we can use as much as we want when we want. ''What ? You exiling my graveyard ? Let me just fetch a few things first.''

Chaos Warp , one of the best utilities in red. Something annoying that nobody can get rid of ? Chaos Warp it !
