Maybeboard

Hi guys,

After playing Zur the Enchanter for a while now, I wanted to create a list, which is working with similar mechanics, but has a little less power. Putting stuff into play is very important in my current PG, as I will always face three decks including blue.
Kaalia of the Vast offers this ability in a little more "fair" way compared to Zur. I can't tutor Necropotence on attack to win, but playing combo is still a valid option with her.
In general I hope to finish the game with an early reanimation combo in turn 3 to 5, but since I'm running no blue to protect myself, hence some stax pieces are included too. In addition, I try to run as many "counterspells" as possible. For a single card description, see below:

In the next section, all game-winning combos and their underlying Synergies are listed. How to set them up is described under "Enablers"

The Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker lines, such a broken card...
Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker + Restoration Angel = Infinite Haste Attackers
Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker + Restoration Angel + Goblin Bombardment = Infinite Damage
Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker + Restoration Angel + Altar of the Brood = Infinite Mill
Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker + Karmic Guide + Goblin Bombardment = Infinite Damage + Infinite Haste Attackers
The All-Star: Worldgorger Dragon
Worldgorger Dragon + Animate Dead | Necromancy = Infinite Mana + Infinite ETB/LTB Triggers
Worldgorger Dragon + Animate Dead | Necromancy + Dragon Tempest | Bogardan Hellkite = Infinite Damage
Worldgorger Dragon + Animate Dead | Necromancy + Altar of the Brood = Infinite Mill
Worldgorger Dragon + Animate Dead | Necromancy + Rune-Scarred Demon = Infinite Tutor
Another powerful card of magic: Leonin Relic-Warder
Leonin Relic-Warder + Animate Dead | Necromancy = Infinite ETB/LTB Triggers Leonin Relic-Warder + Animate Dead | Necromancy + Goblin Bombardment = Infinite Damage
Leonin Relic-Warder + Animate Dead | Necromancy + Altar of the Brood = Infinite Mill
Red Ramp with Dockside Extortionist
Dockside Extortionist + Corpse Dance + Goblin Bombardment + 5 Opp Artifacts/Enchantments = Infinite Damage (+ Infinite Mana of any color if opp has 6+ Artifacts/Enchantments)
Buried Alive / Entomb + reanimation spell in hand:

Kiki-Jiki

1) Cast Buried Alive and tutor for Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker + Restoration Angel + Karmic Guide
2) Use Reanimate | Animate Dead | Necromancy | Yawgmoth's Will to get back Karmic Guide
3) Get back Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker and copy Karmic Guide
4) With the second Karmic Guide, get Restoration Angel and flicker Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker
5) Now you have sucessfully set up Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker + Restoration Angel

This is the whole way to get the combo going. Of course you don't need Buried Alive if you have some cards in grave or already in hand. Though, Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker is hard to cast and can't be cheated in the game with Kaalia of the Vast, so reanimating it somehow is the best way to get everything going.
Other options to get things going from your hand is by discarding missing pieces with Faithless Looting or Wheel of Fortune and/or using Entomb.
Instead of reanimating it, you can also cheat Karmic Guide into play if you have the other ones in your graveyard. This requires an additional outlet like Goblin Bombardment or Altar of the Brood, since you already went through your attack step. Same applies to Restoration Angel if you already have Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker in play.
The whole combo can be done at instant speed with Necromancy, also requiring an outlet on the field.

Worldgorger Dragon

1) Cast Buried Alive and tutor for Worldgorger Dragon + Razaketh, the Foulblooded | Rune-Scarred Demon + Karmic Guide
2) Use Animate Dead or Necromancy to start the Worldgorger Dragon-loop and net infinite mana.
3) Retarget the reanimation spell to Karmic Guide to get back Razaketh, the Foulblooded or directly to Rune-Scarred Demon
4) Tutor Searing Touch or Cut / Ribbons by either sacrificing Karmic Guide to Razaketh, the Foulblooded or with Rune-Scarred Demon to win the game

This is a second option to win via Buried Alive and a reanimation enchantment in hand.
The two outlets here are Cut / Ribbons and Searing Touch. The first one is a fine removal spell for creatures, but can also be used in this combo, while the second one makes an instant speed win possible, when Necromancy is used during an opponents turn.

Rune-Scarred Demon + plus either Entomb/Buried Alive or Animate Dead/Necromancy in hand

1) Put Rune-Scarred Demon into play
2) Search for the second missing piece
3) Entomb Worldgorger Dragon and reanimate it to start the loop and get infinite mana + infinite tutor effects
4) Tutor for Bogardan Hellkite and flash it in to kill the table. Alternatively, Dragon Tempest also burns the table when its already in the field. Altar of the Brood also does the job.

Note, that you can deck

Razaketh Lines:

Leonin Relic-Warder:

1) Put Razaketh, the Foulblooded into play
2) Sac a creature, usually Kaalia of the Vast, and tutor up Leonin Relic-Warder
3) Play it, exile anything, sac Leonin Relic-Warder and tutor for Animate Dead
4) Cast it and tutor finite times with Animate Dead + Leonin Relic-Warder by sacrificing Leonin Relic-Warder on the sacrifice trigger of Animate Dead (Life total divided by two)
5) Get enough mana rocks and fast mana + your finisher combo
6) Break the loop by targeting something else with Leonin Relic-Warder and win

First of all, exiling a mana rock of yourself can net you some additional mana, as it will come back untapped after sacrificing Leonin Relic-Warder the first time in step 2. This reduces the total cost from (ADD MANA SYMBOLS) to (XXX) or (XXX).
Next, you have to tutor all necessary cards on the stack in step 4, as the loop will be interrupted afterwards.
Things to tutor for are first of all cheap mana artifacts which can pay for a tutored combo of your choice. You, your hand and your graveyard (state of game) decide, if you want to go for a Buried Alive win or just get Necromancy to start the infinite ETB/LTB loop after playing wincons again.

Dockside Extortionist

1) Put Razaketh, the Foulblooded into play
2) Sac a creature, usually Kaalia of the Vast, and tutor up Dockside Extortionist
3) Play it, get treasures, and sac it to tutor Corpse Dance or Phyrexian Reclamation
4) Cast Corpse Dance with buyback or cast and use Phyrexian Reclamation targeting Dockside Extortionist
5) Either loop finite times with Corpse Dance + Dockside Extortionist or put it into your hand repeatedly with Phyrexian Reclamation and cast it again
6) Get enough mana rocks and fast mana + your finisher combo

This line requires different mana to start with and a bit more setup to get the finite tutoring going. Preferably, Corpse Dance and Goblin Bombardement are searched to loop infinite times and deal infinite damage.
To get this going, the opponents number of artifacts/enchantments must be either >= 6 or some mana rocks have to be tutored to cast Goblin Bombardement.
The upside here is, that you can interrupt the sacrifice-loop with Razaketh, the Foulblooded, play all your things and then continue with winning through Goblin Bombardment. Of course other wincons are possible as well, as long as you have the mana and life to tutor for.
