I used [[Primer]] Kaalia of The Vast EDH Aggro as inspiration for this deck. I wanted to build something that is mainly for aesthetics, ie waifus, although I also want it to be playable, so I figured I'd start from an established competitive deck and modify. Mardu is also my favorite faction, and this deck is budget-ish. No foils (where possible), because I don't think it's worth tripling the cost to make the deck shiny.

Main Strategy - ETB Effects

There are many directions to go with returning graveyard creatures to activate ETB effects. Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines + Panharmonicon + Karmic Guide + Flameshadow Conjuring is the main engine for this, specifically Karmic Guide, and you never want to echo Karmic Guide. You can focus: 1. Angel of Despair to destroy permanents 2. Rune-Scarred Demon to tutor 3. Zealous Conscripts to steal permanents 4. Gray Merchant of Asphodel for lifesteal 5. Orcish Bowmasters for a cheap ping 6. Guardian of Faith to save from a boardwipe 7. Angel of Indemnity to cast CMC creatures <=4 from graveyard 8. Linvala, the Preserver to gain life and/or create Angel tokens, context-dependent 9. Vile Mutator to force an enchantment and creature sac 10. Shadowgrange Archfiend to force a creature sac with life gain 7. Angel of Serenity for a wildcard re-trigger ETB/removal scenario (the downside being, she needs to die to get them back, which will also give the opp their creatures back, if applicable). Breathkeeper Seraph , Liesa, Forgotten Archangel, Wispweaver Angel, Sorin, Lord of Innistrad, Unburial Rites, Dread Return, Teleportation Circle, Eerie Interlude, Ephemerate, and Sneak Attack all help with this strategy. Ilharg, the Raze-Boar is also better than Kaalia for this approach, since he can re-trigger ETBs every combat.

Secondary Strategy - Vampirism

Lyra Dawnbringer + Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose creates a vampire scheme, if you are able to attack. Archangel of Thune ramps this scheme by giving all creatures lifelink, though several have it already. Gray Merchant of Asphodel can take advantage of this strategy along with the primary ETB strategy. Twilight Prophet also synergizes well with this approach, and Archfiend of Despair can be swapped in to make it even more devastating.

Infinite Combat Combo

Aggravated Assault + Sword of Feast and Famine is a classic infinite combat combo. Rogue's Passage and Key to the City help the creature with sword (probably Kaalia) deliver attacks.

The maybeboard is meant to suggest an alternate build, focusing more on demons and vampires. A few cards are there only because waifu.
