Hey ShaDoWz_6677 thanks for commenting. Traxos would make a good Steelix too.

I actually want the cards in the deck to stick to the morph theme, and enablers for that theme, and then apply the pokemon aesthetic over that. So that's why I don't have things like Sigiled Starfish as Starmie, or Traxos as Onyx.

Is there maybe space in here for a Tentacruel or... I'm not sure what Ruination Guide would be...

3/20/2021 Update - Finally completed a couple alters! Dugtrio ( Sages of the Anima ) and Shedinja ( Disruptive Pitmage ):

3/21/2021 Update - completed the Ixidron (Porygon) alter. I had some uhhh happy accidents with this one so it's more stylized than the previous two. I'm going to make more stylized alters from here on out, which I think is fitting anyway given the variety of art styles on actual pokemon cards.

Also my girlfriend is helping with alters! She's a much better artist than I. She's working on Ditto and it's looking really good so far.

3/28/2021 Update - completed Echo Tracer (Zubat)

I totally love this idea, and I realize you put lots of work into the description and the site. BUT the background is just terribly distracting and the font colour is massively exhausting to read against it. I can perfectly imagine this actually prevents some people from giving feedback.

Thanks seshiro_of_the_orochi, I'm not as sensitive to these sort of things so I appreciate the input. Personally I like busy page designs but I don't want things to be difficult to read. I upped the opacity on comment containers to block more of the background out, and changed the font color to dark blue. How's it look?

I've tried to come up with some cards you might like here:

Vizier of the Menagerie might be fun, and it could represent Gardevoir maybe (this is speaking art wise. I have not much current knowledge about pokemon.) Playing a morph from the top seems good. Also, a weird card that works good with morph is Species Gorger . It can bounce a morph and make your opponent wonder if it's the one you replayed is the same or another one. Pokemon wise, Swampert maybe?

Looking through the list, I see no actual benefit from playing Thought Harvester . That one exiled card for each morph cast is fine, but won't give you that much of an advantage. It's a CMC4 slot, so replacing it with Vizier seems fine.

seshiro_of_the_orochi oh but Thought Harvester is the linch pin! Paired with Glen Elendra Pranksters , a flash enabler, and enough cost reducers like Umori, the Collector to enable free morphs, the Harvester will exile all the opps' libraries.

I'm going to pull Humble Naturalist for the Vizier. That'll put us down to 8 mana dorks which is less ramp than I typically like, but the Vizier is worth it.

That makes perfect sense, I'd wondered what it's in here for. Pretty cool combo. That exchange seems fine. Vizier might not be ramp, but it is both mana fixing and card draw.

4/12/2021 Update - completed Centaur Omenreader (Rapidash) and a Pokeball .

Like Scyther, I chose to try to replicate the original pokemon card art for Rapidash. The background for the art on Centaur Omenreader is actually really similar to the background on the OG Rapidash art; they both have white clouds against a pale lavender sky. So that's a fun coincidence.

You may notice in the sideboard that Creature Guy is representing the 2/2 Morph token. I didn't do this as a joke or anything, it's just that the site doesn't let you select tokens for altered art. You can link to tokens, however, so it's odd that we can't attach alters to them.
