If you can't afford the Lilianas I would fill out the playsets of Ob Nixilis Reignited Thought-Knot Seer and Grasp of Darkness. But if you can get the Lilianas they really make a difference.

I really like the addition of Deadlock Trap. This deck is based less on creatures and more on instant kill and tap outs (which I really enjoy) in contrast to the one I made since I run Morbid Curiosity and Smuggler's Copter.
Solid foundation, I like it; +1!
Do you ever have trouble casting Demon of Dark Schemes? I might add him into my sideboard, but I'm not 100% on it (Give Me Your Hands!)

Indexxical, thanks for the +1, I'll definitely take a look at your deck. As for casting the demon, I occasionally run into trouble casting it against control, but it's better used in midrange and aggro matches anyways. That being said we have enough hand hate packed in that it still resolves in those games, it's just a bit of chess to play it after drawing out counters or stripping them away.

I tried it out a bit. I like it but it does seem a bit muffled. Though I don't see an obvious upgrade anywhere, other than making sure you have both Kalitas and Gonti maindeck.
I kinda felt Live Fast was weak, and in trying to think of a replacement I was thinking maybe Cryptbreaker, maybe packaged with Voldaren Pariah Flip, but I'm not convinced. Demon of Dark Schemes was good, but always seemed like at a disadvantage against the opponent's top end creature, and I wish that ETB effect was -3 instead of -2. Deadlock Trap was good... it's all kinda good, but yeah it feels sluggish somehow when playing it.

i tried my version out last night, it did okay, but i got beat to death by ulamogs and emrakuls that i failed to exile in time, shame really because i really liked playing the deck.

It's completely worth it to play Panharmonicon in this deck. I played Mono Black control and won 2-1 at FNM because of my creature's (Specifically Demon of Dark Schemes and Gonti, Lord of Luxury). When I played it, I also dropped in 2x Marionette Master as Panharmonicon bombs, because his fabrication activates twice (which is VERY nice.) Just my thoughts though. If you like it, lemme know, I'll see what I can do to help. If not, oh well! Your deck looks fine as it is! (: +1

Have you considered wasteland strangler? A number of cards exile in this deck, also dont give up on the Mindbender. It is a fantastic card when you hit. the strangler also gives you the ability to curve into mindbender

Kuyzo, did you run Dead Weight in my deck or your own variant? I'm curious as to what you would cut because you would have to run it as a 3 or 4 of to effectively hit it in opening hand often enough. I've thought of running it but I really like the scry that running Harsh Scrutiny provides the deck.
Also previous versions ran Die Young because of its range as builds as well as helps accrue said energy for other effects like Deadlock Trap when used to kill weaker threats. While it doesn't address the aggro match specifically, it does seem a bit more mailable as a tool.

oh i used it in my mono black budget deck along with harsh scrutiny but i run 3 of each just to get early game started and i run a 4 of transgress and grasp because those usually nab something early-late in most cases

not sure what you would cut though, maybe a lili an ob and a flaying tendrils for the 3 dead weights, im honestly not sure, only reason i say those is because it looks like you have lots of win cons, or you can cut 1 gonti an ob and flaying tendrils idk if this will help lol x_x

I would cut an Ob Nixilis Reignited, it's good when you're comfortably in the driving seat or playing against a slow, controlling deck. However, in most situations it'll be 5 cost spot removal, which is just too slow.
Whilst Grasp of Darkness is very good, I don't think it can be solely relied on. I'd switch one with a sideboard Ruinous Path.
Lastly, you should try throwing a Collective Brutality in. It's so adaptable! Removal, Hand disruption and Life drain!
Otherwise a great built. Love the use of Gonti.
Thank you for the comment on Orzhov Disruption!

This deck looks quite interessting and gave me a lot of inspirations!I think Noxious Gearhulk would work well with Panharmonicon in the Maybeboard ;-)

Oooops, just recognized that Gearhulk is already in the sideboard ;-)

I want you to consider putting Lost Legacy mainboard. "Tapping for 3, playing Lost Legacy on myself, naming 'Eternal Scourge'."

Just as a heads up, you should totally look into the new cards coming in. Yehenni's Expertise is going to be a bomb for board removal since you can easily follow it up with something like Flaying Tendrils.

I love the look of this deck, just bought some of the cards i was missing to make it myself, do you have any suggestions as replacements for the liliana's though? as those are expensive as hell and i'd rather not break the bank on a deck i've never played XD
