Jund just got the hook up it needed to start decimating the lists in its way!

Tireless Tracker and the Artifacts give that edge to unlicensed to make it more of an burn deck than a simple control deck with murder. Clues can save you on that super late game card draw as well!

The bread and butter is Kalitas with all the removal. they're going to be the spells that make or break the beginning, middle, and end. After the first Mindwrack, it's more of an stroll through the battlefield till you can mindslave with The Promised end or just beat their head in.

Grapple, Grim Flayer and Cathartic are what's going to be your V3 engine. You just concentrate on mana per turn and creating a menacing board state. If Tireless Tracker hits the field and gets you fetching them clues, it'll be pretty grand playing a 2/1 lightning-bolting murder!

so the hand disruption was an awesome route, but i decided that it wont be enough for the bigger boys such as b/w flash and grixis. The deck needed to tune into it's midrange routes and be able to stave off the aggro yet be able to compete for the board with control, and this blend does it just find. Cathartic is and always will be the questionable card within the deck. It's usage already requires 3 cards in hand. Secondly, it's a 3/1 at sorcery speed which, I'll admit, it pretty scary. But it had me thinking: If i'm already discarding cards to draw cards to get to emrakul, why not balance my deck enough for the discard to be useful enough for delirium to pop off turn 2? And that's what saves it from the cut. on average, 19/25 games is the ratio that ensured it is a useful card at enabling delirium quickly and effectively while fixing a otherwise questionable hand. to turn three cathartic reunion into a traverse the ulvenwald or a sinister concoction is beautiful.

The other major change is the three mindwrack. let's be honest, folks. a 4/5 trample flyer that can compete with smuggler copter, survive a straight harnessed lightning, AND can enable a tempo'd ishkanah and emrakul is nothing to bat an eye at. period. it's the steak and potatoes of standard right now.
