Time for another round of budget EDH decks! This time I'm brewing with a commander I've been very interested to try since I first saw him: Kambal, Consul of Allocation.

He does seem like 'another Orzhov life gain/drain commander', and in a way he is, but I I think he is strong enough on his own without the whole life gain package. His static ability will just not-so-slowly drain the whole table, and keep you alive while you play black and white good stuff.

All that being said, I'll probably add some life-related cards since Kambal will allow us to abuse some of them.
