This deck was designed with two goals in mind: My first goal was to build this deck for a friend who is new to magic and doesn't want to invest much money in it. It is designed to be a beginner friendly deck, with lots of cards that could easily be swapped out and upgraded over time. The second goal of this deck was to design it as if it were a pre-con built by Wizards. This meant playing some obvious jank cards, keeping the land base simple, but still including some value overall. Its a hard line to walk and I think I managed a list that could be passed off as a pre-con EDH deck.
