Combos are frowned upon in our meta, so I'd rather not put in a blasting station.
I do like the Knight and Life combo, but I only have 8 lands the knight could sac, so it may end up being a dead draw. I'll think about it, though, I could take out some of the more underwhelming non-basics for basics if I'm going to do that.
I took Living Death and Living End out of here, I decided to not make my deck a self-mill kind of deck, but I do agree that I could use a good sac outlet; have anything in mind?

You can use any of the altars (Phyrexian Altar , card:Ashnod's Altar, Altar of Dementia ), lands that sac creatures (Phyrexian Tower , Grim Backwoods ), Attrition , Flesh-Eater Imp , and Sadistic Hypnotist to just name a few of many.

I like the idea of not going the dredge way. I took some of your idea for my own karador, power reanimator in your face. Thx alot
Nothing else to say except+1
Maybe think about Hermit Druid , it is so good in karador decks. Also Life from the Loam combo real well with cycle lands.

Yeah, I tried a dredge type deck before and it wasn't really as powerful as this. It was way more susceptible to graveyard hate, whereas this deck can recover from a Bojuka Bog . This is more of a control deck if you think about it, and critters in my GY really help; I've seen Hermit Druid do some devastating things, so I'll keep it in mind.
I'll also check out your deck, glad to hear I helped you on your Karador deck.

I like the deck! I am about to try my hand at EDH finally. Using him as my Commander. I just don't have a huge access to all the really boss cards.

Thanks man, good luck on the deck!
Karador is really strong, you don't need most of the expensive cards to make him work.

Karmic Guide is pretty much a staple for Karador. I have one in my Karador deck and it's super useful.

Wish I had one. I haven't come across one yet but I'll keep my eyes peeled. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll check out your deck.
Don't forget to leave a +1 if you like the deck! :)

Dimir House Guard . 4-drop for Birthing Pod, sac outlet, regenerating chump blocker, evasive attacker, puts a creature in the yard and tutors for Birthing Pod/Wraths/Grave Pact(also add Grave Pact ). He's just a jack of all trades.

What an amazing critter! Ill have to dig through my stuff to find one.

What about Buried Alive ? It makes your commander cheaper. And Deadbridge Chant ?
June 10, 2013 9:51 a.m.
nielsbass, I actually really need a Deadbridge Chant , but I'm waiting until I can get my hands on a foil one.
Buried Alive is a functional critter tutor in this deck, I'll keep it in mind. The big problem is finding a slot for it- removing cards is always difficult.
victor_bx, the problem with Mortivore is that he takes the same slot as Lord of Extinction (They both do the same thing, and they'd only be there to fling with Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord .) The only way to get trample in this deck currently is via Craterhoof Behemoth , so they don't really get a chance to hit a player often. But even if they do, LoE is much bigger for only one extra mana.
Thanks for the suggestions, guys!

This deck looks like a complete nightmare to fight against. Just two questions from me:
- What are your thoughts on using Liliana of the Veil ? She's a good-force sac engine to stop those hexproof generals.
- How is your mana ramping in this deck? It looks like your mana curve is ideal, but I'm just curious.

Generally speaking, I feel she is a pretty weak planeswalker in EDH. The sacrifice ability would be nice in helping with, say indestructible Uril The Mist Stalker, but other than that board wipes and exile effects have worked for me. This deck has a lot of answers already.
Most of the time the deck runs smoothly. Only occasionally have I had mana problems, but that happens with any deck. If it does happen, its something along the lines of beng stuck at 3-4 mana with no ramp. Only rarely do I have issues with mana color.

Sounds good. I've play tested your deck quite a bit, and I have to say, this is a very well-built deck. It curves out really well, and it answers lots of potential problems on the board. +1, well done.

Thank you very much! I put a lot of effort into building this deck.

I like the deck +1 :)
What do you think about Grim Tutor and Imperial Seal
or
Mana Crypt , Oracle of Mul Daya , Defense of the Heart ,
Garruk Wildspeaker , Gaea's Cradle and Ancient Tomb and great ramp
Sylvan Library , is really good card draw in non blue
Just some thoughts
PS I love seeing Hermit Druid used for just value
July 11, 2013 10:54 a.m.
BTW I would love to play you with Sing to the Jhoira Tune (Would love to discuss)
July 11, 2013 10:55 a.m.
Grim Tutor and Imperial Seal are out of my price range at the moment. And for the moment, Vamp and Demonic tutor are good enough for me.
Crypt and Cradle would be awesome. Currently, I'm looking at getting the last two duals, a foil strip mine, a foil wurmcoil, and a foil karmic guide. So those are my top priority at the moment.
I'm currently using my Library and Tomb in other decks, so I would have to buy new ones for this deck, but I'll keep them in mind.
Thanks for the suggestions!

Necrotic Sliver likes hanging out with his friend Harmonic Sliver . It's no Aura Shards but it's still pretty good.

Have you tried out Blasting Station ? It infinite combos with Saffi Eriksdotter + Sun Titan to flat out kill your opponents. Soul of the Harvest also gives great card advantage with all the reoccurring creatures. Life from the Loam + Knight of the Reliquary works as a great way of pulling out all your utility lands. Speaking of which, the dredge mechanic is plain broken in this type of deck. Living Death is also a great board wipe option to get around indestructible creatures as they must sac them. Finally, maybe add more sac outlets to be able to recur your creatures with Karador and/or respond to opponents' Swords to Plowshares .
