Birds of Paradise seems a bit sub par. Ramp is good but I prefer ramp that puts lands on to the field.

Yeah, good idea. He doesn't do much for the deck, really.
July 14, 2013 2:27 p.m.
Oh man. Defense of the Heart and Hell's Caretaker would love to be in this deck. Defense of the Heart more so in multiplayer, but dang Hell's Caretaker loves being in every Karador deck!

Desolation Angel is sweet with karador, if you don't mind being THAT GUY.
+1, cool deck, I got nothing else for it because I am so intimidated by the price tag.
July 23, 2013 9:56 p.m.
plax77: Defense of the Heart is always a good card, I'll give it some thought. Hell's Caretaker seems a little slow and clunky for me, but I'll give it some thought as well.
MirranTitan: I do like the idea of desolation angel, but there are a couple problems: Kicker triggers on casting, not on etb. So I can't get it with Birthing Pod, Sheoldred, Debtors' Knell, or other reanimators like that unless I just want to wipe my own board. Being "that guy" isn't too bad, but I don't know how my friends would feel about this.
The other problem with all cards suggested is that I never know what to cut for good cards. I'm still looking at what to cut for Wurmcoil Engine , Karmic Guide , and Deadbridge Chant . So many hard decisions!

Lemme see if I can find some cuts.
Solemn Simulacrum to me feels redundant in green decks, I feel like he would be a good cut for Karmic Guide
I would avoid Deadbridge Chant because it can screw you sometimes.
Also, with Karador, casting from GY is still casting, which is why I suggested it.
Wurmcoil Engine is good, I like him a lot.
Chromatic Lantern seems little redundant, I feel it finds it's home best in non-green decks. Might be a cut, especially since you have all kinds of ramp available.
Elvish Visionary is also a bit questionable for me. I like Wall of Omens and Wall of Blossoms because they provide cards and defensive position.
The cycling lands are a must with Life From the Loam
July 23, 2013 11:57 p.m.
All good suggestions.
I like Solemn and the Lantern a lot. Solemn fits in the deck's theme and this deck sometimes does get stuck without ramp surprisingly.
Alright. It just seemed like a strong enough card to warrant being in here.
I could see myself cutting Thragtusk and Debtor's Knell, though.
And about the cycle lands: They're awesome and all, but with the few basics I have it can be hard to fetch sometimes.
I will still keep these suggestions in mind.

My friend runs a Karador deck quite similar to this. Some of the staples that I always dread going up against in that deck (which you don't already have) are Drana, Kalastria Bloodchief and Hornet Queen . I would also consider swapping Unmake for a Path to Exile because while path does get the creature's controller a land...I have used it on my own creatures (normally a token) on occasion, for that land.
Overall looks like a very solid deck. +1

Thanks, good suggestion!
I really only had an Unmake in there because I had the textless promo, just replaces it with a path.

I also run Harmonic Sliver in mine. It's an ETB Qasali Pridemage and if you have Necrotic Sliver on board then it also blows up permanents.

My bad, didn't notice Harmonic was already on the list :)

That's all right, BX223Hunter.
I haven't played the deck since I've added him though. He looks really useful.
Thanks for the input!

Deadbridge Chant and Karmic Guide are very good, I use both in my deck.
July 30, 2013 6:22 p.m.
I'm getting a Karmic Guide for the deck.
I'm pulling out Debtors' Knell , and probably not getting a Deadbridge Chant . They're both cool and all, but I feel like they draw way too much attention and end up just being destroyed before they're used unfortunately. :(

+1'd your deck, going to follow it to see when you make changes =D.
Vindicate if you can find one.
Genesis to get cards from your yard.
July 30, 2013 10:45 p.m.
Haha, Vindicate is already in here. :P
Genesis is an interesting suggestion. It's kind of like a backup karador, in case something happens to him. And cards in the graveyard are way harder to deal with than one on the field. I'll certainly keep it in mind.
See, I don't like tutors where people can see what I tutor. I currently don't run Buried Alive or Entomb for just that reason. If they see me entomb a card like Sylvan Primordial , then they're going to know something's fishy. I'm actually putting Jarad's Orders on the chopping block for just that reason. I'd rather have my tutors be secrets, that way they don't know when I'm about to drop a bomb.
I guess it's just more how my meta plays than anything. We run with lots of control and removal and are very political. It's hard to get people not to kill me when they know I'm going to start Yosei-locking them next turn.

Great deck :) +1. This is one of the decks I looked at when making my Karador deck. (I like to look at tons of decks and make a giant list of cards I like in addition to other cards on my mind, then whittle it down from there, takes forever).
I recently changed my commander from Karador to Teneb, as it fits my deck more. I used to not think Mimic Vat was a good fit for my deck, but after looking at yours just now and since I now have many more ETB creatures than I did before, I think I'm going to have to find a place for it.
Hermit Druid is amazing in this deck. Another card that is similar in self-mill strength is Mesmeric Orb . It never really gets out of hand, and if it does, you have plenty of things to blow it up if need be. It's great in my deck and hurts combo players very badly.
If you have any suggestions for my deck, Teneb's: The Walking Dead, I'd appreciate it. Keep on Reanimating!

Thanks for the comment, Demyx.
Mesmeric Orb is a very interesting suggestion: I had never thought of it before. But I'll throw it up on the maybe list and see how it works in the deck.
I'll make sure to see what kind of cards I can find to help out your teneb deck, too!

personally I'd run Summer Bloom as a mana-ramp card. 5 lands on turn 2? hell yes.
August 29, 2013 1:03 p.m.
My only problem is that that requires lands in hand. I'd much rather run a card like Nature's Lore .
November 30, 2013 4:56 p.m.
Have you thought about Ashen Rider , Adarkar Valkyrie , or Reya Dawnbringer in the deck? I know the angels don't have ETB triggers but they let you reanimate (pseudo with adarkar).

Harmonic Sliver is a pretty good idea, but what should I remove for it?
