Right, yeah. I feel like i see a lot of decks with super high land counts and I can never bring myself to do that with any of my decks. One land I definitely want to add (I'm fine with swapping land-for-land) is Geier Reach Sanitarium. That card is AWESOME.

your deck inspired me to build my own Karador list. there is just something about Greater Good and a recurable Yosei, the Morning Star that brings a tear to my eye. I have only one suggestion for this list: Hunting Grounds.

Wow, I'm glad I could inspire yo to make your own version of the deck! Yosei is one of my favorite cards, with a sac outlet he's basically like a reverse-infinite-turn combo, which is extreeeemely juicy. I somehow have never even seen Hunting Grounds before in my life, and it seems like an amazing way to cheat mana cost; I'll be sue to test that card out as soon as I get a chance!

Interesting, but you never know how good a deck is going to be in different play groups.

Quick question what would you replace for someone who wants to play triskelion ? Would you replace chrome mox ?
March 7, 2018 12:35 p.m.
I wouldn't replace Chrome Mox with Triskelion since they don't fill similar roles. If you want to go for the Mikaeus, the Unhallowed+Triskelion combo win then I would consider playing Tooth and Nail also. You can replace Craterhoof Behemoth or Yosei, the Morning Star, since those are my preferred wincons costing 6+ and you can easily swap them for yours.

i would rather hit it in the graveyard rather than win all the time with tooth and nail

That's a great way of looking at it. I think EDH decks in general need more instant win combinations so games don't drag out for hours and hours. I would rather play 6 half-hour games than 2 hour-and-a-half-games. Combos don't need to be your only way to win, but they're there when you need them.

also would you prefer chrome mox or mox diamond better for that slot since you dont need to exile something and just discard for the same effect ?
March 8, 2018 2:20 p.m.
I absolutely want Mox Diamond instead. It's also possible I want to play both anyway though. I just need to pick up one and the foil is like $190. I also eventually want to put a Gaea's Cradle in here as well.

i Dig what would you replace for both diamond and cradle ? also thanks for the deck i found a commander i really want to build
March 9, 2018 6:45 p.m.
Who is your commander you want to build? Cradle replaces a land for sure probably a basic I've been slowly trimming those. I was actually thinking of cutting Mikaeus, the Unhallowed since he's so expensive, so maybe him?

this commander actually ive wanted to make a busted commander for sure, and this one is my favorite and this deck is great. i can see cradle replace a basic, and i like mikeaus in the deck i was thinking replacing the mox with diamond since i feel that you want all your cards possible or maybe even replace chord since it feels that chord tends to be played a sorcery speed for a crater hoof win
March 11, 2018 2:16 p.m.
I think cards like Chord of Calling are almost impossible to replace. Honestly it's always almost an instant speed tutor for a combo piece (my meta is very competitive), and if you're being disrupted it can deal with any permanent by fetching out what you need. That card is really unfair lol. I don't think I've ever really gotten Craterhoof with it honestly

gotcha well thoughts on mox and diamond switch cause i feel you need to have most of the cards in the deck

My goal was to replace Viridian Emissary with Bloom Tender when I eventually got my hands on one, but I haven't been seeing that card appear too much in competitive lists that I find online. So that's probably what should be Mox Diamond.

i think is cause viridian emissary is more consistent cause its basically draw 2 get a basic cause the worst bloom tender gets is 1 mana the best it gets is 3. So i can see why that would be replaced though for mox
March 14, 2018 11:59 a.m.
I like Viridian Emissary but the list is so tight that I think it's what needs to go next.

So I'm pretty sure you want World Shaper in this deck, given its essentially Splendid Reclamation on a body, plus it lets you mill for 3 each time it attacks. Seem like it fits what you want to do pretty well.
March 20, 2018 10:58 a.m.
I haven't given that card literally any thought, I kind of just wrote it off as mediocre in the competitive scene, but it's actually possible I want this guy over Solemn Simulacrum. I'll have to test it out because it seems like there's a few spicy scenarios I could cook up.

What's Your opinion on running things like Sewer Nemesis or Lord of Extinction + Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord
I made a deck where this combo was one of the main win conditions and was thinking about putting it into a karador deck based on yours. Thanks!

I often find myself using the cheapest artifact/enchantment removals for destroying the mana rocks of my opponents in the early game. Especially when you don't have a quick start it's nice to prevent others from having a quick start either. Cutting a land for when you get the mana crypt is always a trick...you're still at 34 lands, which could be further reduced with more artifact power
