@Youngster_Joey I understand the suggestion of a Pack Rat , but my problem is why would I discard a card that could get a Relentless Rats back to only make a "weaker" rat. I just feel that the Pack Rat would slow down the deck.

That's fair, but also consider you don't have to discard a card. You can always use it as just an X/X where X is the number of Relentless Rats +1. just another option :)

I am assuming Reya is in there for the returning creatures, have you seen Emeria, The Sky Ruin ?

@acuda2113 Not a terrible idea! Thought I think I will have a hard time getting the requires amount of Plains, so I think I'll replace the guildgates with the corresponding Shock Land.

Well outside of coming in tapped it acts as a plains, not a terrible tradeoff, and at 40 lands in such a cheap deck you could probably put 2 or 3 ramp spells in place of lands, focus on the ones that get any basic land to tutor those Plains, or even mana fix if needed, then consider Expedition Map to tutor for whatever other land you might need in case you get some more specific ones. In my Karador deck I run Gavony Township it might be a consideration as well

By cheap deck I meant the CMC of the cards

+1 for rare commander. just saying, pro black is your mortal enemy. How do you face a Blood Baron of Vizkopa or others?? Desecration Demon ? I suggest a few protectors like Fog JUST to be safe. You don't have many fliers, you know... Archtypes are always an option too, you know, first strike? trample? deathtouch?? Just sayin'...

Remembrance and Aven Shrine are worth considering.

Pack Rat IS another Relentless Rats and it turns your excess Cluestones, Back to Nature s, Elfhame Sanctuary s or whatever else isn't immediately relevant INTO a Relentless Rats .

Emeria, The Sky Ruin is hard to justify here. Tutoring for 7 Plains while 2/3rds of your deck is Black is going to make it difficult to cast 2 Relentless Rats a turn. It would be better served as a Bojuka Bog . If you can afford it, Cabal Coffers + Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth would be amazing.

The only reason I was suggesting Emeria was for the creature recursion that Reya brings. It gives another way to do it. Getting the 3 white for Reya herself is also difficult. If he gets the appropriate dual lands, it will increase the plains count for both cards. It was a suggestion mainly based on seeing Reya. When I did my Karador deck, I went a different theme, I just posted it, feel free to give input Wizard1134. The deck is Ghost Slivers

Nature's Revolt and Living Plane are basically static versions of Natural Affinity, and they can be tutored with your Sterling Grove.

A little bit unfun for sure though, since it not only gives everyone's lands summoning sickness, but can turn off lands forever with Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite and Linvala, Keeper of Silence. I run the lock myself in my own Karador deck and it's pretty nasty
