No Boonweaver Giant? Even if you don't use him for infinite nonsense, he gets you incredible searchability with Pattern of Rebirth.

Kuhnife I have no Auras. I would have to put in two cards (both Pattern and Boonweaver) to get the utility out of it. I generally have no problem searching my deck for creatures, because of the number of tutors I run, and the sheer number of "card advantage" things I use. This seems like a lot of cards and mana for very little benefit.

Duhphlates Oops, I took out a card for Reclamation Sage and forgot to update my list. I've corrected the errors, this reflects my current list.

The boonweaver combo as previoulsy noted, makes it so you win the turn you play it because of pattern of rebirth and and the karmic guide and friends combo. Speaking of the karmic guide combo, you are missing Fiend Hunter. It adds a bit of good utility, and it goes inf with either karmic or sun titan and a sac outlet. I personally really enjoy Sheoldred, Whispering One and Meren of Clan Nel Toth for extra annoying recursion so people have a worse time getting rid of me, and sheoldred, Braids, Cabal Minion, and World Queller for a bit of stax. Nice build btw! Most of it is pretty similar to my own build

smackjack yes. Loyal Retainers +Saffi Eriksdotter is the only combo in th that can get out from under Torpor Orb and the related effects.

Academy Rector is great in hulkweaver stuff. Lets you get pattern directly into play to go off with, or if you can't go off you can instead search for things like necropotence or necromancy to really get you moving towards a place where you can go off. With rector I also really like Eldritch Evolution because you can sac a 2 drop to ee and just win as long as you have a sac outlet and an extra creature.

GhostChieftain Oooh Academy Rector sounds very spicy. I'll take out Traverse the Ulvenwald for it.

tcooke2 Protean Hulk is already in the list, and listed in the combo tutors. Felidar Guardian Combos with Karmic Guide, Reveillark, Animate Dead, Necromancy, and Dance of the Dead but those cards already have redundant combos in this list, and most cost less than 4. I'd consider it, but I'm not sure it's worth the slot.
June 24, 2020 12:42 a.m.
tcooke2 Felidar Guardian is a tough one. Combos with a lot, but requires that I already have the other pieces out. Just like Leonin Relic-Warder and Fiend Hunter and that makes the combo itself more fragile. I think I'm nearing a saturation point where I don't need more combo pieces. What would you suggest I take out if I were to put it in?
June 24, 2020 1:22 a.m.
I'm not a big fan of Sad Stick Flip and Twist personally but I understand why it's in there, Satire Gay Binder also seems slow. Also adding a Booty Sniffer completes a hulk line with no setup (kill hulk grab seer and guide, then grab death taxer and body snatcher, sac in response to exile trigger, then grab saffi and retainers.
June 24, 2020 8:49 p.m.
tcooke2 What if I take out Sadistic Hypnotist and put in Cartel Aristocrat for just a strictly cheaper sac outlet.
Then take out Satyr Wayfinder for Felidar Guardian as an additional means to combo and an additional 4 cost creature (a surprise tool that will come in handy later)
I can take out Qasali Pridemage for Birthing Pod as an extra reusable tutor (especially fun with any line that includes Felidar Guardian because it allows you to fetch and sacrifice the Felidar Guardian on the same turn.
But as for Body Snatcher, I'm not sure what I should take out
June 26, 2020 10:45 p.m.
The first cards I'd probably be looking at would be Hoe Rider cause its just a more expensive seer, but the escape can be useful. Fan O'Shamin and Depends for the shart are both tutors that rely on staying on the board for a full turn rotation, which always worries me. Also I'm not quite sure how the Ants in my Head + Some Titties combo works and it seems like a more expensive piece of recursion to me that might not be worth the slot.

darkseid4nk I haven't looked at this deck in many months, but if I were to take some stabs at editing it today, I would take out some of the more slow and expensive redundant combos in favor of spot removal pieces like Abrupt Decay , Path to Exile , Swords to Plowshares , Fracture , Toxic Deluge , Assassin's Trophy , Beast Within , and Generous Gift .
I would also try to make space for Teferi's Protection and Heroic Intervention , not as removal per se, but as interaction for when other people try to use removal against you.

Zhugo12 Thank you for the fast response. I just got a karador deck and am in the process of upgrading it. I really liked what you have going on here but I'm trying to take from this and a couple others and make something of my own that is still fast enough to turn 4-5. This deck list stood out with it being a high competitive score with a lot of combos, but Junkus Opus [Primer | cEDH Hulk Combo] (Retired) also stood out to me.
June 21, 2021 12:43 p.m.
darkseid4nk Yeah, it seems like that deck leans more towards creature control. It also uses some high cost critters that I personally think slow the deck down. That said, I think that deck is very good, but the lack of Boonweaver Giant combo is disappointing, while understandable because that deck hasn't been updated in several years. I was also honestly baffled to not see Necropotence in that list because it is far and away the strongest card advantage effect in these colors.
Another thing you might consider looking into is decks based around Nethroi, Apex of Death. While not identical, the decks often play similar strategies, and functions similarly. If you like the hate/control cards from the Junkus deck though, you might consider looking into creature toolbox decks that helm Sidar Kondo of Jamuraa and Tymna the Weaver , because they lend themselves to utility creatures that control the board. Check out EDHRec to see what I mean: EDHRec Tymna//Sidar

I have another question. Why would you run: Arid Mesa, Bloodstained Mire, Flooded Strand, Misty Rainforest, Polluted Delta, and Wooded foothills in this?
July 7, 2021 2:14 p.m.
darkseid4nk Fetch lands that can only grab 1 land type in your deck are still great because they provide versatility. If you have Arid Mesa but desperately need Black Mana you can fetch Godless Shrine or Scrubland . This also helps thin the deck, though that effect is marginal.

Like the deck, but Im a little concerned there arent enough creatures in the deck. Even at 36 I still have a hard time getting enough into the yard for what I want to do. If it works for you, then its fine. personally, I think the mana rocks should be replaced by mana dorks or creatures that search you out more lands, as they will serve the purpose of keeping karador at a low cost, as well as amplifying his effectiveness.
If you want to take a look at Karador, the Returned Prince I would like to see what you have to say about my version of karador, as there are a lot of things I am debating about.
