Alright!

Karametra...I was looking through my binders to find a good commander for my Chromatic Challenge and I saw that I had 6 copies of her...6...how...I read her card and thought, a commander that is hard to remove, plays with a fun mechanic (Landfall) and lets me cast big stupid green spells? Lets build her, and build her I did!

This is my take so far on Karametra.

It is a pretty standard G/W good stuff list, with a Landfall and Mass Land Destruction sub theme, yes I do enjoy this and my LGS thinks it's fine.

I wanted something Resilient, consistent, gains value over time and sneaks up on players because they don't expect her to do much.

The best part about Karametra is that you can have some weird from left field combos such as Sakura-Tribe Elder + Emeria Shepherd = all plains from your deck (sac Steve grabbing plains, landfall trigger bringing him back, sac him again and there ya go)

Armageddon + Splendid Reclamation (I get lands you don't) / Avacyn, Angel of Hope (I also get lands and you don't) / Titania, Protector of Argoth (I have an army, you have no lands, try to win now, seriously please don't...)

There is also the fun Card Draw engine of Temur Sabertooth + Wall of Omens / Wall of Blossoms / Elvish Visionary

And if you thought we where done with MLD, you where wrong! Kamahl, Fist of Krosa + Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite = G-Destroy THAT land.

I have thought about cards like Admonition Angel but with so much targeted removal being printed and re-printed lately at lower cmc and rarity it seems like a wasted turn with too much setup to go for.

Cards like Elvish Mystic late game turn into 1 mana Rampant Growth and if I have some of my draw engines online 1 mana Rampant Growth + Draw x is pretty nice!

I also love Natural Order , its inclusion is why I have the bigger more costly green creatures.
