I played two games back to back with this deck fresh out of the box, and like Atarka, it was mean from the word go, but I found a draw back or two. This isn't a serious modification, I changed ramp and took the land down to 36... it had 40 I think... added a few artifacts and removed Dictate of the Twin Gods...that one lost me the final game...all in all I think I made a slight improvement. 21% Comp before (Vanilla form) to 29% Comp now (not that the meter means anything, but it did move the needle a bit)

I added Bloodsoaked Altar for flavor, beefed up the ramp and potential card draw...added a creature or two including Avatar of Slaughter and Ulamog's Crusher (it was chilln' in my binder) And I added Helvault and Manifold Key to keep it spicy. Cloak of the Bat was a must as I played the games against the Sphinx Starter Deck and this just couldn't compete against the onslaught of endless flyers (that deck is fire out off the box as well!)

Largely, I've left this deck intact, changed out 8-10 cards tops, most of the moves were to the ramp and lands.

Made some moves, notably Dreamstone Hedron, which sat in my hand for nearly the whole game, traded it out for Rakdos Locket
