Theros! Beautiful plane, full of wondrous mysteries. Where else would Karona take a vacation? The gods are totally open to having a newcomer join their ranks; after all, they just killed off the previous newest god, they've surely got a spot open! /s

Anyway, yeah. Over the past year or so, I've been gathering a collection of all of the Theros-block gods, and ended up thinking to myself: "Well, they look pretty, but what am I ever going to use them for?" The answer came in the form of EDH. For a while, I toyed with the idea of making an EDH deck with all of my gods, plus a bunch of other Theros stuff. Then I discovered that Karona exists, and said "sure why not".

Anyway... uh... this is still very much in the prototype phase. Got any suggestions? I tend towards a control-ish deck archetype, with some minor thievery/stealy and combo themes, but I'd like to have some decent pillowforting. I like EDH games, and I like long EDH games. Maybe Karona isn't the best idea for this sort of deck, but I'm just gonna go with it - worst comes to worst, I'll never cast her (or only as a finisher).

UPDATE: I've decided to use Karona as commander for "fun" games, but get my hands on a Child of Alara and some sac-outlets for the more competitive stuff.
