When Kaza, Roil Chaser was introduced with the release of Zendikar Rising I had no tribal EDH decks in my collection. With wizards being one of my favorite tribes and, spellslinger being one of my favorite strategies, I got to building her quickly. When looking at Kaza there are a few important factors to take into consideration:

-First, she only costs . This allows her to played multiple times a game if she gets removed.

-Secondly, she has haste allowing us to use her ability the moment she is played.

-And lastly, her ability itself reduces the cost of the next instant or sorcery we cast equal to the number of wizard creatures we control.

Overall, Kaza has a lot of powerful characteristics built into her. However, it is difficult finding the sweet spot for how many wizards the deck should run and how many instants/sorceries it should have. I'm constantly changing and updating the deck to see what is the optimal way to build Kaza.

The main focus of the deck is to play control and protect yourself from large threats, giving you enough time to play the game ending combo with Enter the Infinite and Thassa's Oracle. The deck runs a myriad of counterspells, bounce spells, and removal (usually in the form of burn). Card draw and wheel effects help to keep the hand full of spells and increases the chance of finding our combos quicker. Effects that benefit Kaza such as Aphetto Alchemist and Illusionist's Bracers allow us to double down on her ability.
Enter the Infinite + Thassa's Oracle -This is the deck's main combo finisher. Draw the entire deck and play Thassa's Oracle to win the game. To pull this off in one turn I've found that you'll need at least 6 mana.

Aphetto Alchemist + Illusionist's Bracers -Infinite untaps for Aphetto Alchemist and another target creature or artifact.

Dualcaster Mage + Sublime Epiphany -Create infinite copies of Dualcaster Mage and have your opponents draw out their libraries. Dualcaster Mage also combos off with Rite of Replication for infinte copies of Dualcaster Mage or Ghostly Flicker for infinite land mana.

Patron Wizard, Azami, Lady of Scrolls, and Galecaster Colossus -Allows us to get more use out of our dinky, little wizards.
