By the way Ohthenoises, after reading your description of the card again, I believe I was mistaken. I am now more inclined to think that they were talking about LifelineMTG Card: Lifeline. And still, it is just not the right card for this deck. That Debtors' KnellMTG Card: Debtors' Knell combo is nice, but like I said, if I have Scion of the Ur-DragonMTG Card: Scion of the Ur-Dragon out at my upkeep with 2 mana available, I should be able to win the game that turn anyway. Debtors' KnellMTG Card: Debtors' Knell is also very expensive to cast, so I'm not sure it would even see any play without some dedicated control, like an Esper EDH deck.

IN--

Consider running Skithiryx, the Blight DragonMTG Card: Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon to make the one-hit a bit easier.

(If you don't know, put two copies of Scion's ability on the stack, first finding Moltensteel DragonMTG Card: Moltensteel Dragon, pumping 6 times, then resolving the second trigger and finding Skittles. Scion will be a copy of Skittles with +6/+0)

Vorosh, the HunterMTG Card: Vorosh, the Hunter is nice since the +1/+1 counters will stick around. (No one kill option here though)

Quicksilver DragonMTG Card: Quicksilver Dragon for some protection of Scion. "I think you really should swords your general". Keep this little tech secret from your usual playgroup ;)

Eternal DragonMTG Card: Eternal Dragon fixes lands, recurs and is a dragon. The idea being that drawing him isn't a wasted card. (Plaincycling finds dual lands!)

Battle MasteryMTG Card: Battle Mastery - Heck yes double strike.

FarseekMTG Card: Farseek, Nature's LoreMTG Card: Nature's Lore, Skyshroud ClaimMTG Card: Skyshroud Claim - Find those $100 lands you put in your deck.

Prismatic OmenMTG Card: Prismatic Omen - Suddenly every land you own is a dual land.

Command TowerMTG Card: Command Tower - Get this. No questions asked.

I hear Sarkhan the MadMTG Card: Sarkhan the Mad likes dragons.

OUT--Here is what I would take out:Karrthus, Tyrant of JundMTG Card: Karrthus, Tyrant of Jund - Since ETB abilities aren't triggered by Scion, consider replacing this with a more relevant Haste dragon. (Hellkite ChargerMTG Card: Hellkite Charger?)

NaturalizeMTG Card: Naturalize --> Nature's ClaimMTG Card: Nature's Claim - 4 life is nothing and you are going for general damage.

Force of WillMTG Card: Force of Will? Do you usually have an extra blue card kicking around?

Lotus BloomMTG Card: Lotus Bloom --> Darksteel IngotMTG Card: Darksteel Ingot - Faster/longer lasting.

Worldly TutorMTG Card: Worldly Tutor - What are you going to find? Seems like you want most of your creatures in your deck to stay in your deck.

Hall of the Bandit LordMTG Card: Hall of the Bandit Lord - Since scion costs only colored mana, and you don't want to play your big dragons I can only really see you using this on KotR and a Titan. Seems like a mana fixer would be better here.

Otherwise nice looking deck.

I have actually already considered a lot of your suggestions. I like Quicksilver DragonMTG Card: Quicksilver Dragon and Skithiryx, the Blight DragonMTG Card: Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon, I will find room for them. The other dragons are underwhelming. Battle MasteryMTG Card: Battle Mastery is just unnecessary and it typically won't matter when my general swings. The land tutors are also unnecessary with fetch lands, and I will be adding some more. I love Prismatic OmenMTG Card: Prismatic Omen, I just haven't gotten around to finding room for it, I will try to squeeze it in. And yes, Command TowerMTG Card: Command Tower is in. Sarkhan the MadMTG Card: Sarkhan the Mad also appreciates decks with more expendable creatures. As for the outs; Karrthus, Tyrant of JundMTG Card: Karrthus, Tyrant of Jund is the biggest dragon with haste out there other than Hellkite OverlordMTG Card: Hellkite Overlord, which is also in here. I actually totally agree on the Nature's ClaimMTG Card: Nature's Claim, in. Force of WillMTG Card: Force of Will turns any other counterspell in my hand into a 0 cost counter and can stop just about anything in an emergency situation. And what I usually don't have kicking around is extra mana to stop a kill spell after casting my general. I like the burst ramp with Lotus BloomMTG Card: Lotus Bloom because it fuels some early powerhouse plays, like a turn 4 Primeval TitanMTG Card: Primeval Titan. But that is rare enough that I actually think I would appreciate the consistency of Darksteel IngotMTG Card: Darksteel Ingot better, so that is in. Worldly TutorMTG Card: Worldly Tutor actually finds quite a few helpful things, such as Primeval TitanMTG Card: Primeval Titan, Knight of the ReliquaryMTG Card: Knight of the Reliquary, Vexing ShusherMTG Card: Vexing Shusher, Mother of RunesMTG Card: Mother of Runes, AngerMTG Card: Anger, Lotus CobraMTG Card: Lotus Cobra, Urabrask the Hidden MTG Card: Urabrask the Hidden , or Snapcaster MageMTG Card: Snapcaster Mage, that otherwise do not come up very often. I have found Hall of the Bandit LordMTG Card: Hall of the Bandit Lord to be very underwhelming, I will certainly remove it for other lands. Thank you very much for your suggestions! There were actually quite a few good ones that I intend to make use of, so your help is greatly appreciated.

Oh yeah - BrainstormMTG Card: Brainstorm which is already awesome gets way better with all of your fetch lands. Speaking of fetch lands - Mirri's GuileMTG Card: Mirri's Guile gives you even more deck control (on top of Sylvan LibraryMTG Card: Sylvan Library and Sensei's Divining TopMTG Card: Sensei's Divining Top), if you need it.

Another option for control is Global RuinMTG Card: Global Ruin which usually reads "You get 5 lands, your opponent get 2".

PropagandaMTG Card: Propaganda --> Collective RestraintMTG Card: Collective Restraint. That is some serious slow down.

I actually cut Sylvan LibraryMTG Card: Sylvan Library, the deck control was a little unnecessary with tutors and the like. Global RuinMTG Card: Global Ruin is nice, I might try to find a spot for it. And yeah, Collective RestraintMTG Card: Collective Restraint will probably be a lot better for this deck, thank you again!

Really nice build, +1! To bad you are only playing 1v1. What would you modify to make this multiplayer besides changing the main Moltensteel strategy? I'm building a Multiplayer version of this for a while, maybe you want to look over. =)

If you're running Doom Blade , why not run Terminate instead? You have access to all colors so it should be a strict upgrade, maybe?

I have a scion deck made for more of a multiplayer interaction, and it has been a VERY long work in progress. I only put the cards in I currently have, but I hope to eventually get all the duals, fetches, etc. Undead Dragon Hordes: Scion Aggro. +1 me if you feel like it :-)

Also, In place of Wrath of God , you might consider Decree of Pain . Gives you card advantage and value no matter how you use it. I realize it costs significantly more mana, and the cycle is not quite a wrath every time, and you play 1v1 primarily, but it might be decent in your deck.

1 cuz DRAGONS!!! ive been working the past couple months on my deck. its pseudo budget, but thats just the land base haha. thats what ive noticed most of the value of these scion decks are in the mana base. but ive got nothing to say on your deck. good job haha. if you dont mind take a look at mine and tell me what you think. Dragon Armor (Scion EDH) i take any and all criticisms

Formats entire post in H1. Has nothing to say about OP's deck. Advertises own deck.

Top.

Epochalyptik there isnt much to say about this deck. its a dragon control deck. you control the board until you play dragons. and like most dragon control decks, not a lot of dragons, you keep them in your deck, to turn scion into them when you need to. not much really i could say, other than it was well built, which is essentially what i said. and i have no clue why it made my comment huge like that. it did not look like that when i previewed it.
