"He tired of his fellow researchers and their useless prattling, so he decided to make a network of scholars with whom he could carry a conversation."
Let me tell you a story. The first time I opened a booster and got a
Biovisionary
as the rare card I wasn't happy. I thought it was a bad and useless card like so many others. Weeks later a friend of mine got one as well, and insisted on trading it to me for a card he wanted. I accepted and told him I wouldn't let it be a useless trade for me, because I was gonna make a Biovisionary Deck out of it. So here we are! And now he isn't laughing at this network of scholars anymore.
--
Biovisionary
+
Infinite Reflection
+ at least three or more creatures.

Biovisionary
+
Mirrorweave
+ at least three or more creatures. (See
Mirrorweave
Combo Explanation below)
-- "x"
Biovisionary
+ "y"
Cryptoplasm
copying
Biovisionary
+ "z" tokens of
Biovisionary
or
Cryptoplasm
made with Cackling Counterpart, where "x + y + z = 4 or more" and "x > 0."
-- AEtherling's awesomeness: This guy is simply unbelievable. Killing him is almost impossible and blocking him becomes indeed impossible. And even better than having one, is having two or even a lot of AEtherlings on the battlefield, which is pretty easy to do with the huge creature copying material you have in this deck.
- Other Key Cards and Strategies:
Axebane Guardian is the key for mana. The average CMC of this deck is not exactly low, so having a lot of defenders and one, or even two, of this guy is gonna make you really happy.
Fog Bank and
Guard Gomazoa
are your deffensive weapons. They fly, don't cost a lot to cast, prevent damage, and give you mana with Axebane Guardian and time to get your winning combos rolling.
Cryptoplasm
fits perfectly in here. In this case, he's better than Clone or Phyrexian Metamorph, because you can cast him before even having a
Biovisionary
or a Chord of Calling in your hand. And while these cards don't come, you can transform
Cryptoplasm
in one of your defenders, for mana and protection.
Cackling Counterpart is great for two main reasons. As an instant, you can win the game with the element os surprise. And it has flashback, which can give you an extra extra copy of anything you want. Also, using a Cackling Counterpart in a
Cryptoplasm
is not a bad idea at all!
Since you've got some dependence on right cards to be able to win, you gotta buy cards, and the right ones. So: Serum Visions. Also, Chord of Calling brings you a
Biovisionary
or an AEtherling directly to the battlefield.
To complete, Simic Charm to protect your creatures, giving them hexproof or throwing them back at your hand; and
Evolution Charm
, to bring back a
Biovisionary
or an AEtherling from the graveyard or to help you with mana early in the game.
Mirrorweave
Combo Explanation: in this case, if your opponent has three creatures or less, you can use
Mirrorweave
at any time. However, if he has four or more creatures, you only win if you cast it in his turn, otherwise you're gonna lose, because the ability triggers in the APNAP (Active Player - Non Active Player) order, and resolves in reverse order. Therefore, wins first the player whose turn it isn't! If you're in a game with more than two players, you have to cast it in the turn of the player who comes right after you. Attention with that!
