Why I chose the listed cards.
Dragonlord Ojutai: Comes onto the battlefield as a 5 drop 5/4 flyer with conditional hexproof, and when he deals combat damage it's Anticipate on a stick.
Dragonlord Dromoka : One of the reasons to play green, Dromoka shuts down decks in the Esper/Grixis/Bant Control matchup.
Jace, Vryn's Prodigy : Phenomenal card.
Icefall Regent: A really nice dragon.
Nissa, Vastwood Seer : Comes down early and gets me a land. Oh, and did I mention her Planeswalker side is amazing?
Oblivion Sower: Really nice body for six mana, and acts a great beater that also gets me lands.
Lumbering Falls: It's a land that turns into a creature. Good enough for me.
Dig Through Time: Card advantage.
End Hostilities : -cast end hostilites, pass turn- -untap, cast Elspeth, Sun's Champion -
Scatter the Winds: Better than Cancel.
Horribly Awry: I suspect lots of aggro, here's my answer. Also fuels Oblivion Sower.
Ojutai's Command: Draw, counter, or gain.
Treasure Cruise: Hop on the draw boat.
Anticipate: Trying it out again.
Dispel: Good against most decks, a counter one blue is always good.
Disdainful Stroke: Take that Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger!
From Beyond: Ramp with Scions, then tutor up an Oblivion Sower. Seems decent.
Kiora, Master of the Depths: Hey! This card is really good! And by really good I mean REALLY FREAKIN' GOOD!
Ugin, the Spirit Dragon: Nice late game finisher, and he doesn't exile Oblivion Sower.
Dispel: Against other control decks.
Gideon's Reproach : Good against aggro I guess.
Dromoka's Command: Enchantment hate.
Display of Dominance : Against U/B Control.
Radiant Purge: Decks that rely on multi-colored cards such as Siege Rhino and Butcher of the Horde to win.
Mirror Mockery : Against Abzan, 'cause a non-countered Siege Rhino is deadly.
