How has energy worked for you? My concern is that ithe seems to be tough to actually use energy for a win - it enables shenanigans, but it doesn't directly do a lot. Meanwhile proliferate let's you just hit the one energy counter, as opposed to a build focused around putting counters on many creatures - this way proliferate provides more value, because you're adding a counter to 5 creatures instead of just one energy counter. I'd also bet that the experience creatures didn't work so great for you because they demand at least some build-around. That isn't necessarily an issue though - tokens and counters synergies well, see Hangarback Walker and Hooded Hydra and similar creatures. I'd really love to see an effective energy strategy, don't get me wrong, and proliferate absolutely helps...I'm just skeptical of its efficacy. Have you done much playtesting?

Rahvin_dom You are right about the experience counters, they didnt work out but were in the original design. Big hopes for the next commander set. But the real trick to this deck is flickering. Bouncing Demon of Dark Schemes with Deadeye Navigator or lots of land drops with Architect of the Untamed does indeed make most of my but yes a proliferation a turn hardly helps the total but when you get 3 or 4 proliferates, that does added up. So with all of this, getting your wanted amount of is quite easy. Play testing does usually fair off pretty well. It doesnt beat my lich deck or my exile deck of course but its right up there.
Thanks for the comment!

Animation Module Complete the combo and ride a cascade of energy, +1/+1s, and Servos.
Beastmaster Ascension Crazy buff is crazy.
Gemstone Mine More any color mana land to proliferate.
Gonti's Aether Heart Blink your non-charge artifacts with Brago/Venser; crack for an extra turn when you need it.
Meren of Clan Nel Toth whom you considered, is miles better as a value engine vs Skullbriar the growing dumb beater.
Merciless Eviction Because you are in color and nuking all Planeswalkers is often important.
Peema Aether-Seer 3 Energy Min, typically higher ETB; Occasionally pull utility dudes/generals into unfavorable combat
Tezzeret the Seeker Untap clasp/engine/modules/rocks; tutor out modules and Panharmonicon.
Vivid Marsh The four vivid lands in color are probably better here than using tri-lands.
Whispersilk Cloak Archangel, Atraxa, Basker, Brago, Roc

Delta-117 Boy did they choose right in production. Multiform Wonder is a great card but only for limited but makes me think on what it could be, maybe something like AEtherling?. Hopefully more powerful cards come out in Aether Revolt.
