Sideboard

Soft-lock control deck featuring Kef.

The idea is to get Kef out with an active Mystic Sanctuary, repeatedly bouncing it to replay a sweeper, or a counterspell, depending on the situation. If we can survive until t4, we basically beat creature decks. Shatter the Sky also has upside if we have Narset and/or Kefnet out, since we'll deny card draw or draw more cards ourselves without losing our indestructible creature.

We have to max out islands to active Sanctuary, and the cycling lands + cantrips help to immediately get back the cards we recur.

There are some flex spots, for sure, and the sideboard needs help.

Now featuring Zirda, the Dawnwaker; being able to reduce the cost is huge, but just as importantly, Zirda also gives us a "free" card to add to our hand, which helps for meeting Kef's clause to attack/block.

I would like to have a better alternate wincon than the Elsepth/Zirda/Castle Ardenvale, but I'm not sure what this deck wants. Hall of Storm Giants costs too much to activate, most of the time, as we're bouncing lands regularly between Tragic Lesson and kef... but could be a consideration over Castle. Castle is better for pumping out chump blockers, though getting to 5+ mana just to block against a creature deck isn't a common occurrence.

What we really need is something to more easily remove planeswalkers, but I'm not sure cutting Zirda is worth Detention Sphere. Maybe we just have to accept that there's some bad matchups.

SB: Narset's Reversal for Thought Distorion. "Can't be countered" clauses on interactive cards were a mistake, and suck.

Recommendations welcome!
