I wanted to build Kemba, and have the focus of the deck be the tokens she creates--making lots of use out of cards like Raksha Golden Cub and True Conviction. That said, there are obviously cards--like Ajani, Caller of the Pride which are included mostly to pump Kemba, Kha Regent so she can fly in for an alpha strike.

I also wanted a double strike sub-theme to synergize well with all the equipment I'll hopefully be swimming in.

I'm not sure about Elspeth, Knight-Errant in here. That emblem is very nice, and she can pump Kemba and give her flying, which is nice. There will also hopefully be lots of little 2/2s running around to give her blocking cover. I'm curious about how well she'll stick around, though.

I considered playing something like Smokestack, but that seemed a little less fun than the cards that I had room to play. If I find myself needing some competitiveness to have enough fun with the deck, I'll probably add it.

I'm also worried a bit about the land count. 32 is less than I tend to play in decks, but with as many rocks as I'm playing, I hope it's not a problem. If so, I'll have to make a couple/few (very tough) cuts to put some more in.
